A Frontier of Possibilities: Columbus Day Lecture with Brad Birzer



On October 10, 2022 (Columbus Day), the James Madison Program hosted a lecture with Brad Birzer, titled, “A Frontier of Possibilities.” This event was co-sponsored and supported by the National Italian-American Foundation.

Bradley J. Birzer is the Russell Amos Kirk Chair in American Studies and Professor of History, Hillsdale College. The author of several biographies—on Charles Carroll of Carrollton, Andrew Jackson, Christopher Dawson, J.R.R. Tolkien, and Russell Kirk—Birzer teaches courses on the American frontier, the American Revolution, Jacksonian America, and the American Civil War. He is co-founder and senior contributor at The Imaginative Conservative.
