A FINAL PREVIEW of Sun Princess before her Maiden Voyage – More about her cancelled Inaugural Cruise

Welcome to our final Sun Princess Preview video. On January 24th, Princess Cruises announced that in agreement with the Fincantieri Shipyard, they would be cancelling Sun Princess’ inaugural cruise on February 8th due to unforeseen delays and challenges at the shipyard. We dig into this a bit more in the video. Further delays are possible as well.

Following the sailing news, we give a complete breakdown of her dining venues, staterooms and children’s programming / kids clubs as well as major features and innovations with this new class of ship. We’re excited to be counting down the days to the Inaugural sailing of Princess Cruises latest ship! We’ll track the Sun Princess’ progress as she completes her fit and finishing in the Fincantieri shipyard and makes her way, likely to Rome (Civitavecchia)for her first cruise. We’ll highlight some of the features and unique design elements that Sun Princess brings to the Princess fleet. From the stunning Sphere that brings natural light into the piazza to the Dome and the unique Princess Arena. Finally, we’ll bring you details from the ship as more news and updates are released and track her progress until the final handover.
