Hello everyone! This week is full of upcoming games demos because of the Steam Next Fest, and here we have my gameplay of 9 Years of Shadows, a metroidvania with a gorgeous pixel art and with some designs that reminded me to Saint Seiya.
The action and platforming felt good, the back-dash felt awkward, and I think the “hugging the bear” faculty is a bit overpowered, considering how most of the enemies move really slowly or don’t even try to follow you around. The hammer boss was really tough (the only part where I didn’t feel safe), but sadly it got buggy in the middle of the fight.
