Israeli military action continues to devastate the civilian population in Gaza. A three-day siege of Al-Shifa Hospital is in progress despite the fact that thousands are sheltering there. The IDF, claiming the site is being used by senior Hamas terrorists, says it has killed 90 of them. The bombardment is pushing Gaza towards a devastating humanitarian crisis: A U.N.-backed organization reports that more than a million people — half the population of Gaza — are on the brink of catastrophic hunger. David Miliband is President and CEO of the International Rescue Committee. He is a former British Foreign Secretary and is himself a child of Holocaust refugees.

Sickening – what did the world do when Hamas was firing rockets into Israel. Where was the UN putting peace keeping forces into Gaza to prevent this situation. Where did the world stand when the US was carpet bombing Vietnam. Where is the world aiding the far worse situation in Sudan. Where is the pressure on Hamas to surrender to save their people – we should be seeing the UN forces rounding up armed terrorists not propagandising on behalf of them. These faux concerns and lip biting interviews with the real culprits who have stood by and done nothing for the last years is gut wrenching in its hypocrisy. And to have one more interview with someone “ whose family were Holocaust survivors “ in an attempt to give them gravitas – is laughable.
