Even though I've read the manga, the anime still feels fresh, because it's so colorful.
So speaking of the cane zombie, I bet that would help with identifying what type of zombie it is, like the best girl is doing. I’d bet ten Doritos that the cane zombie is a walker not a runner. So perhaps the type of life the zombie lived before affects the type of zombie. That would make schools and sport locations would be the most dangerous.

Only my time at Home Depot did not feel exploitative in some fashion. They rewarded you and most my bosses worked alongside you and did not ask to much from a person; even did stuff for the holidays like roasting Turkeys and taking the employees out for dinners. Thats why I was fine with working for them forever… one bad apple got me fired but that's on them not the company.
The others I mentioned are all Black companies in my eyes. But if that's the work I get then that's the work I get; I have no better option. Its not that kind of people doing the hiring.
I have a simple philosopher about hiring. hire a 1000 to find the 1. Not hire the 1 to reject the 1000. Those currently hiring are of the second ideology and not my ideology… that's why unemployment gets so high.
You don't mine for diamonds by searching one location randomly that you feel good about; you have to search a 1000 places to find it where ever its found. Hopefully that makes sense.
Unfortunately anything stated as "fair" or "equal" are anything but; Since laws demand diversity those that are not considered diverse do not apply. Therefore I have zero reasons to have faith in any interview or screening process. I have an invisible voice. People just can't see my POV in otherwords. I can ask for or seek help all I want but never receive any honest or pure help just excuses or ignorance.

Trauma I feel needs others sometimes for you to ID its trauma.
Honestly in a zom 100 setting I might try to be a super hero.
Save people by killing zombies and try and give real hope to those I save.
Masking my own pain in the work to save others.
If a point is reached where zombies are no longer a threat yet the world is still open I would be an adventurer exploring ruins for loot.
But its a Zombie apoc they rarely end before a life span of years.
But
If its like my theory of the undead and they just continue rooting until the bones become dirt; then Maybe in 5 years or possibly 10 they naturally rot into nothing right. Nature is not kind to corpses afterall.
Depending on base options I would get food.
Have to travel with bag and such: All the small Nutrigrain like breakfast/snack bars that have a lot of granola and such. Meat Sticks. Energy Drinks. Sports Drinks. Water. Funnel. Duct tape. Large Knife. Shit ton of rope. Bunch of Zip ties. Flash Light Stuff. TP. Paper Towels. Medicine. full metal Maul (8 lbs roughly). Polasky (in case you do not know this one; wide hoe like pick on one side and Axe head on the other; also preferably Metal). Between my big metal tools doors are nothing and since not likely to break on you. Knives are always needed. Rope to bind things. Zip Ties to hold things together. Duct tape is versatile prob solver.
Power on: Focus more on frozen stuff so I could cook it all up and have decent meals at least. same gear but also all the aerosol and flamables. along with all the lighters and matches. for fun reasons.
Power Off: replace frozen with canned. same as power on for rest of gear. Also Wood and a Stove for keeping warm.
I do not like weapons with ammo in this type of environ. it requires more supplies needed
