A cringe worthy moment during a live gig with my Zoom L-12

So I did my first live gig this past weekend with my band & i was using my ZOOM L-12 which I’ve had about 4 yrs now. Only used it for recording at home but I was excited to use it in a small live setting with 4 of us in the band & using 4 of the headphone outputs. I also have a @1010music bluebox I’m using to play some backing tracks + a click/metronome in my songs on separate channels. I route the click to our headphone mix & sent all other audio to the master mix. In a nutshell, right before we were going to play, I couldn’t figure out why the click was coming out my master mix & for all of my audience to hear..😬😵‍💫😭…. This was embarrassing to me & I was getting frustrated. It was time to play & the only options(so i thought in my frustration )were 1) everyone including band & audience would hear the click or 2) nobody including band & audience would hear the click. We decided to roll with everyone hearing it bc the band & I absolutely had to hear it to stay in sync with the tracks. We got thru it ok, but the next day I figured out that this setting in the MONITOR OUT section was my answer. I unknowingly had selected MASTER out & not the HEADPHONE out when adjusting the click volume level. … Oh well- live & learn, right?

On the positive side, I’d rather make that kind of blunder earlier than later as my intention is to play out with my band & have more gigs.
