A few things…
I was wrong about flea market being 20 this wipe, I remember now that it is level 15 this wipe, however this does not change my opinion on the ZSh-1-2m.
When I mention the Killa helmet and Maska are the same thing.
Shattered facemask would be A tier because its cheap and I love the idea of an RP airsoft mask bouncing AP ammo.
Hjelm was that new Helmet I mentioned, it would probably be B or C tier due to the fact that it is more expensive but is similar to a ratnik.
nice vid! i often especially earlywipe take weight in consideration cause of carrylimits minmaxing .tc800 is ultralightweight. the tk fast mt replik is often cheaper for nightvisionmounting and offers reflectchance compared to the nonhelmetmounts for NVGs. cheers
While the untar does suck,you can do the anti frag glasses barter for like 12k and with it being aramid if it gets hit it holds well and is cheap as shit to repair.
People like the LZSh because once you get the samples buy option for the multi hit(~40k at pk4) it’s the cheapest way to get near full head with headphones protection for only ~70k

Fast MT is better then airframe every time. The bright ass tan Color on everything in tarkov is gross looking.
late wipe everyone starts selling the zsh and its faceshield for dirt cheap, the most cost effective combo for under 30k for factory.

Ironically, the Ronin should technically be the best helmet in the game, as it has similar performance to helmets like the Altyn in real life (and so if the same standard was applied should be level 5), except without the vision obscuring and it can also have a headset fitted onto it.
The top tier ammo is way more rare this wipe with the flea market changes. Mid tier equipment is now way more effective, everyone is just rocking normal stuff now. Crazy gear and rounds are super rare. like they should be, even a month in.

so… ears protection wasn’t even mentioned once? i feel like it’s a pretty important attribute to a helmet, especially with things like the EXFIL, airframe, bastion etc that lack ears unless you sink money into mods, and it’s the reason i personally will take a ULACH any day over any of those helmets, because you can actually get shot in the ears from the front, even through a face shield
ratnik is S its just SSH with ear protection and a good barter (2 bleach with lvl1 ragman)
its the best helmet 100% till you can afford ulachs and altyns if you have head eyes phobia.

Most casual players now can’t really buy level 4 pen rounds without selling their soul now so lvl 4 helmets are more useful now

Surprisingly, i've had great luck with UN armor. When you're starting out, it's an awful armor to wear but when you play defensively they won't see you first and you can take them out just fine. Wouldn't always recommend it based on what you're doing. Sniping or waiting in a field, it's an awful choice but wearing it at night nobody can see colors very well like that from far away if you're not standing in light.(I am sure it's possible, but i'm speaking from my experience)
makes great use in factory on night raids where you're bringing a gun with a big light or a budget loadout. If you're shining the sun at someone, doesn't really matter if you wear blue or pink they will at least see your outline more likely than not.
As in the real life, your kit changes based on your mission.
Djeta is most DEFINITELY worth picking up and keeping. It is basically a free berkut from ragman.
The 6b47 ratnik is way better than the ssh-68 penis helmet too btw.
Rouble for rouble it's only slightly more expensive and is cheaper when you barter for it.
Not only that but it has ear protection when the ssh-68 penis helmet doesn't and it has better ergo and speed stats as well as a NVG mount.
Best helmet in game is the fisher boonie hat. You do not give a shit about getting shoot in your head because your enemy can‘t shoot what he can‘t see. 😂
Lzsh also has no ear protection. 6b47 is my person favorite. 30k compatible with all headset if not most, can support nvgs, cover ears as well, high ricochet chance. Like I would go for something level 4 but how likely is it that someone will be using that low pen of ammo after a few weeks into wipe. Most people don't have less than the lvl 4 but be able to pen lvl 3 stuff. Not work extra 50k
Main thing i disagree with is the bastion. Its truly not an A tier helmet. Its like C or B at best

The Vulcan 5 has been good to me the last couple of wipes. Sadly she's been banned and is now full price (400 ish thousand instead of 150 thousand, 175-220 wth faceshield) The Class VI protection and visibility is superb, but as you stated the faceshield isn't. Also it TANKS your movement, and makes you deaf. Still wouldn't trade it for anything else though. The amount of times I would just turn around while reloading to save my ass is unreal.

SSH is not good, you can spend $20,000 on the 6b47 trade and get an overall better helmet than the ssh, the ssh has terrible debuffs to the ergo.
I got a kiver helmet out of a stash yesterday while on a scav run. I was heading towards extract and it tanked a 338 round. I got out so im sure what ammo they were using but it still tanked it which kind of impressed me

Im not sure what wipe this video was made for but even a month into .12.12 most people in factory are still shooting complete useless shit ammo and level 3 face shields save you much more than you would ever expect. Sure it's all for fun and such, but it isnt really true that those are outclassed in a week.
With the new ballistics system level 3 helmets are actually even more worth running now, 6B47 and ULACH is king imo, high ric, ear protection and good ergo.
