The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is a 2017 action-adventure game developed and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch and Wii U consoles. The game is a part of The Legend of Zelda series and is set at the end of its timeline. The player controls an amnesiac Link, who awakens from a hundred-year slumber and is tasked with saving Princess Zelda and preventing Calamity Ganon from destroying the world. Similar to the original 1986 Legend of Zelda, players are given minimal instruction and can explore the open world freely. Released on March 3, 2017, Breath of the Wild was a launch game for the Nintendo Switch and the final Nintendo-published game for the Wii U. Two waves of downloadable content were released in 2017 via an expansion pass. Breath of the Wild received universal acclaim. It won several Game of the Year awards and has since been cited as one of the greatest video games of all time. Breath of the Wild is also the top selling game in the series and one of the best-selling video games of all time, selling more than 30 million copies by 2022. A spin-off, Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, was released in 2020; a sequel, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, is scheduled for 2023.

  2. Of course everyone can play however they want, and your method is as valid as anyone's, but to offer a counterpoint to the inventory slots philosophy; If you have 20 weapons and you know you only need about five, then whenever you're full, it should be easy to pick ten swords to get rid of, and then you can pick up ten more before you need to do the whole "hmm, what do I keep" routine. Makes inventory breaks a tenth as frequent, and if you're as lazy about inventory management as I am, that's worth it!

Edit: That was a good lynel fight, though!

  3. So are we going to talk about how he unintentionally pulled of Daruks shield rush while fighting the Lynel in the Coliseum ruins without even knowing of all the advanced tech possible in the game???

  4. The master sword despite being a single weapon really expands your inventory in a way. Having a weapon that regenerates after being broken means youโ€™re not only never without a weapon but also youโ€™re swapping weapons way less frequently so you end up with a bunch of weapons you never get to use or break because the master sword is only ever a max of 10 minutes away
