‘A blow!’ How will Prince Harry and Meghan Markle react to Spotify break-up? | Palace Confidential.
It has been a fortnight to forget for the Sussexes. Not only did they lose their huge Spotify contract, but found themselves scorned by a company executive who called them ‘grifters’. The Daily Mail’s Royal Editor believes that the couple are having to come to terms with the fact that for big media companies, their royal attachment is their appeal. ‘I think anybody, even their biggest supporters, would admit that people are not given multi multimillion pound deals, with no track record in the industry on the basis that they are going to produce incredibly worthy programmes over a number of years,’ she tells our royal talk show Palace Confidential. For the paper’s Diary Editor Richard Eden, the fallout shows that the Sussexes weren’t sufficiently serious about the job in hand.

F the king , who cares about Charles and his mistress.
William understands like Charles that the RF must give back more to the country and the people. Charles gave them 1 billion dollars recently. William now with more money and land than he knows what to do with is doing just that. I woud do that but retain control of the lands and partner with the government on it. Harry on the other hand is being led by the nose ring by that dreadful woman for her own benefit and selfishness.

Being provoking and controversial is Bill Simmons's stock-in-trade, that's why he critiqued the Sussex's. He, himself, has been accused of fleecing Spotify. "The collapse of the deal reflects a broader shift by Spotify away from exclusive, expensive ventures," is what more qualified industry critiques say about it. But of course, haters gonna hate. I don't see the Sussexes as simply wanting to "make a quick buck," but more that they NEEDED to make money fast. His father cut off his security for heaven's sake! That's pretty much what killed his mother. BTW, people in the USA, for good or for bad, are OFTEN given multi-millions of dollars "with no track record…" Can you say "venture capitalist" anyone? Can you say "hedge fund" anyone? Can you say shark tank, lol???

The media including you are pot stirring. When is the right time to discuss homelessness? Do you think our new monarch is so forgetful and insecure as to think William doesn't respect him after all his attention to his father at the coronation? William is acting from his heart. When people act from the heart good things and indeed miracles happen. The WEF have met over many years and not resolved homelessness and famine. Why is this do you think? It's because they act with their own interests in mind. Good for William let's all get behind him instead of picking pathetic holes!

I love how they look in the robes and feathers. The tradition is also something that I love.
I hope the Royals realize that the more of the past and, all of it's ceremonies, are removed, the more irrelevant a Monarchy becomes. It's the jewels, clothes and ceremonies that interest the public.
If only her Majesty had been there for their first ever win!
