Damn, grinding out these videos!
The battle in the last video happened after this one
It's a classic LoC map btw. Total number of points counts. Only a handful of maps are LoC-System maps, in which the largest network of connected LoC-point with a map-exit count for each team.
did the french try to grind the inf line before sending in the cavalry? if so, brilliant tactic.
Not forgetting that the French Army had different organizational structures as opposed to those of other countries. For example, Russia, Austria, and Prussia maintained large formation sizes for their regiments…an Austrian battalion maybe over 1000 men, while the French had about 700. The smaller formations did give the French greater mobility on the battlefield, while, say, Prussian formations were problematic in maneuver. In terms of an imbalance of numbers, taking the armies in their totality, French had a slight numerical disadvantage.
Man, I just love those uniforms from the 18th to early 19th century, they were so classy and practical at the same time(French uniforms under Napoleon were designed to be more fitting for the Revolutionary idea of equality and unity across the classes, and to function in the terrains of Europe as well as in the colder climates of Russia), which puts American uniforms during the Civil War to shame. The Franco-Prussian war in 1871 was what made the uniforms take a shift towards practicality with the introduction of breechloaders, when standing in line was no longer needed. The uniforms of the British during 1770 to 1800, 1795 to Napoleonic French, and Prussian under Frederick the Great are my favorites(Russian, HRE and Ottoman were pretty cool as well, even the Japanese uniforms were designed in western style after their Meji Restoration, same with the Chinese after the Revolution of 1911)
Bro can i join these stuff or no ?
