  1. Disagree strongly with the idea that the christian scriptures deserve "respect." The tyrant god of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, if he does exist, is an irredeemably vile being, against whom every moral man would engage in open rebellion.

  2. Been looking at late 60's counter culture literature from the SDS and liberation movements. It's the identical vocabulary the students repeat today. James was right, all the radical activist of that era went into education. Grateful for Lindsay.

  3. At this point we can agree on one thing whether you're an atheist or a theist is that freedom of thought is under threat from both sides. Fundamentalists on the right and wokeists on the left and both love cancel culture.

  4. Lindsay seems to take communism and its disastrous consequences throughout history very seriously. Many think “the woke” are just harmless liberals who are overcorrecting for past injustices. It’s not true. They’re about as red as chairman Mao and should be opposed.

  5. The states taking Trump off the primary ballots is a trick to provoke violence from the Right. Colorado, then California, Michigan and Maine all said they were removing him from the ballots. All but Maine reversed that decision a few days later.

  6. Just my opinion Thomas. Objectivism is an atheist philosophy. Dialectical Materialism is an atheist philosophy, Buddhism is an agnostic philosophy. Atheism as a disbelief in god, it not a philosophy. It's pretty much just a single idea. This makes Atheists for liberty a week proposition for a brand. You can talk Locke's classic liberal philosophy and extrapolate human rights in terms of a state of nature, and leave god out of it. Anyway, You have few subscribers because your brand is weird, "atheists of liberty". Secular liberty makes more sense since it could include atheists, nonreligious theists, agnostics, etc. Atheism is just so early 2000s "new atheist movement"… It's not trendy anymore. Most of the New Atheist like Lindsey, Peter Boghossian and Dawkins, Bret Weinstein all regret their involvement in the New Atheists Movement because it demoralized society which created a vacuum that wokeness eventually filled.
