Rise of nations music!!!
i ran into a clan in this game called Foxhole and their clantag is KNHTS and i think they're larping as imperial knights because i've never seen them outside of tanks
I owns 10k points of Knights with plans to buy the cerastus varients when they come out. They are my favourite faction and i love everything about them… surprisingly still one of the cheapest armys ive owned, a lot of them are ebay rescues
the whole vid: "I don't know jack shit about medieval times so I just repeat debunked shit".
I don't appreciate the comments that this video keep making. Otherwise I did enjoyed the story till 6 minutes in.
You mentioned the most known knight models. What about the super fancy knights?
Also, you seem to have twelve frogs in you throat.
tabletopppppppppppp
11:07 wow that part is cringe and irrelevant
Voltron man, Voltron, the OG mech show for most Westerners.
Aside from that, the basic issue with Knight armies is, well positioning. You run the risk of focusing too much on too few units, especially against certain armies, cough Tau cough, or bloody knife ears. If you go with one daddy knight, and ten squires, you run the risk of not having enough power to push through beefy armies.
Still, the ability to force a squire model to charge over 30' on turn one, to smash into your opponents army just because, is always hilarious.
The UK ranks significantly higher than the USA on the global social mobility index js
The Imperial Knghts were a mystery to me for a long time. They werent the anywhere as much mentioned as much as the Imperial Titans. First time I remember then was as a hidden unit in Final Liberation Epic 40,000 for the PC.
Then they got some focus in the Mechanicus: Horus Heresy book. Late they got an army book. Im "sure" their new popularity wasnt also influence by Battletech, Mechwarrior Online, HAWKEN, or the Tau's battlesuits.
Imperial Knights are cool, but I encountered Battlemechs long before them so hearing about nobles piloting robots isnt new.
I do have a problem with the Imperial knight Rules, namely their weakness against the Tau of course. Tau have has these Railguns ever since their introduction way back in 3rd edition. Its just been getting buffs almost every edition and can take out nearly every vehicle from every other faction, often as ranges that cannot be responded to. Imperial Knights' special Anti-Armor are short-ranged melta cannons.
The Super-Heavy tanks tend to be more like what I want, even if theyre generally limited to 0-1 Lords of War choices. Yeah I like a Shadowsword with a Volcano Cannon over an Imperial Knight thats trying to get into chainsaw range.
All this talk of knights and no mention of Freeblade at all? Sad
Stronger than a greater deamon wow just wow
I get Escaflowne vibes from their origin story
Bretonnian: EUGH
Mecha-Horseless-Bretonnian: WOWZERS
Is that big yellow boi a Custodes aligned Knight……..Zogging hell
The premise that MULTIPLE worlds just happened to have knights, and happened to degrade into feudal worlds and just happened to establish codes of chivalry and honour is the silliest least believable origin stories for a faction in all of 40k
But is this just britonia Of man riding giant robot 🤖 instead of horse 🐴
This guy really mumbles a lot.
all these anime mech references
hottake: Lelouch would outsmart 90% of Space MArines in Tectics&Strategy
I hope the knight AIs are like the titan AIs from titanfall. Jack and BTs relationship was a very cool part of the titanfall 2 campaign.
I bring a knight with my Sisters. Because chicks dig Giant Robots.
I know you did mechanicus do one for titans.
If possible I’d literally put Guardsmen in a knight army specifically for the extra numbers and small amount of fire support. If I were to have a full knight army but a few points left over. If I could put in a single group of guardsmen I would do it :p
Once I get through my pile of shame and my guard army is done I’m gonna get an imperial knight as a sort of HEY LOOK AT ME DONT WORRY ABOUT THE THREE EARTHSHAKERS ABOUT TO DECIMATE YOUR BATTLELINE sort of thing. A much larger version of the Tyranid distraction carnifex tactic if you will
canis rex is the first model i bought
Love their hunchback look, reminds me of Bonecrusher from Transformers 2007 (my favorite Transformer)
Is there an imperial knight equivalent of pilebunker?
RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA KNIGHTS
6:34 They sound like my kinda people.
Love it
I love how unapologetically unorignal Raid is.
I had an all knights army and whenever i played against friends they always brought max terminator squads with meltas and plasma squads, never won but the first rounds were fun when i got to go first haven’t played them since 7th because for me it lost its luster
