These arguments seem reasonable. I truly don't understand why we didn't send 500. The world cannot afford a loss in Ukraine. Russia will never stop. The majority of the populace is completely brainwashed. It is sad. I wish they had better information. Even here , we have to weigh truth from lies. However, we have access to all options in information.
Should give them some more of our Abrams tanks, they'll never be used and as said, this IS a good investment in decimating a bad actor, enemy of ours.
So much the U.S. military and CIA does out in the world is bad, but Putin's Russia is a bad actor. Their failure to steamroll Ukraine revealed that they didn't have nearly the power we assumed, this is the chance to see that little power they do have just shattered.
It is so sad, Putin came to power with promises to break the oligarchs and, if he had done that, he'd have set the stage for Russia to truly become great. But he put himself, just him, and his own wealth, over the entire country. Allowed any oligarchs who gave him half their wealth, now and in the future, permission to keep doing what they were doing.
He is likely wealthier than Bezos, the richest man in the world… But when he is gone, he will be a man who ruined a continent-sized country, all for personal gain. He is the perfect illustration of the worst traits in man, allowed to run amok.
Let's hope Russia gets a better leader, the leader Russians deserve, when Putin finally bites it

The problem is the Dnieper River, all but 7 bridges can't actually support the Abrams or the Leopard 2. In fact a good chunk of ex-Soviet infrastructure can't support too many full loaded Western style trucks crossing the same bridge at a time, much less armored vehicles. heck, the Ukrainians even wrecked a bridge using a German vehicle using the Leopord chassis but it had no armor since it was a towing vehicle not a tank (to be fair, they knew the weight limit of the bridge, it was kind of an emergency and they had to move the vehicle or lose it). So unless Ukraine really likes making new bridges in the middle of the war, these tanks aren't going to do much. And if they do make the bridges, they need to support heavier American or European vehicles, not the lighter ones they are used to making.
No one is worried about Russian troops lol. Now their nukes… that's something to worry about, granted most of em most likely don't work, but I am sure some do.

Bridges may collapse under this thing . There are a lot rivers to cross in the Ukraine. Why is it the US Marines have declined to have any more tanks in their service. Could it be that lighter less expensive weapons can take out these giant monsters? That is certainly been shown to be the case against the Russian tanks.
If the new appointed speaker of the house Mike Johnson gets his way the Ukraine will receive no support from the USA. And the presidential 2020 election will be overturned in favor of Donald Trump. Who will surely withdraw his support for the Ukraine. Maybe I failed to see how Vladimer Putin is such a great guy.
