Greetings, all! As someone who enjoys getting to Disneyland right as it opens, I’ve picked up a few tricks to maximize my first few hours in the park. Known as “Rope Drop”: the moment that the cast members lower the ropes and guests walk to their attraction of choice. Depending on your traveling party and desires, this morning could look very different. Here are two scenarios of what I have found to be a great way to kick off a day in the park! Please consider liking/subscribing if you enjoy the videos and if you really want to help out share the channel with a buddy! The more the merrier! Also, check out Patreon.com/JimmyGood if you want to support me! Thanks for stopping by and remember to Adapt & Overcome!

This is exactly what I needed before my first trip! Thank you! I also really loved the transition! You would make a very powerful Sith Lord
thanks, but how has rope drop changed since the return of early entry for those whom stay at a DL hotel and have access to certain rides ? Id like to see the treehouse become something of an Encanto attraction. Removal of Paul Frees from Haunted Mansion ( with the exception of Pat Carroll) es verboten
Nice man, i hope i can do rope drop one day
Too funny, I wonder if so many rides are down due to not having enough engineering staff to keep up?? I've been seeing so much rides down at various parks including Disney Orlando and Universal Orlando
I’ll be there in October with the fam. Maybe I’ll see you again.❤️
Our strategy is much like yours. Hit the “smaller rides” while everyone else goes to Galaxy Edge.
We had a rope drop experience similar to yours – 4 rides were down the day we went! But like you, we were able to "adapt and overcome." 😉
God i hope im never at Disneyland at the same time as you. That obnoxious commentary during the ride would be grating and annoying. Let people enjoy the ride.
Going in a few days and still undecided between Space vs Indiana for my rope drop. Just going to buy the ROR ala carte pass…
38 minutes lost in sleep but worth it . Great video. Awesome commentary
Rope drop and after 10pm were my favorite times at the park….when I Rope dropped I hit Indiana Jones, Pirates, Splash, and Matterhorn all by 9:05 am
"Good morning, and welcome to Disneyland! Nothing is operational."
Hi, will the app tell you before walking to the ride that is down, the day of? Or just just have to figure it out upon arrival to the ride?
great vid!! love the transition and idea of starting the day over. adapting really is so important as ride closures can totalllllly throw wrenches into plans. definitely gonna be watching more of your stuff. thanks so much!!
