It’s ridiculous how bad Starfield looks much less performs. And the GPU market is out of control. We deserve better from both game and GPU developers. Especially for the price. Greedy greedy greedy.
the "modders" you are talking about are obviously Nvidia employees and have experience implementing FG into games. Nvidia don't want to lose to amd at any title, but fake frames do not equal real frames, it doesn't feel the same nowhere. "90" fps with this mod is not different from 45fps native, it just interpolates images like TVs and change the motion to something people think is more fluid because of expectation bias, that's the real magic. it's smoke and mirrors
Nutella generation can't play games at 30fps without complaining………
Waiting for your 6600 XT video before I install it
FG just looks so horrible. Dithering and the weapon laser becomes a mess. Increased latency at an already low internal fps seems like a disaster. Not sure why people use this feature.
DLSS 2 is incredible though.
so i guess that me buying 4090 to play at 1440p is actualy NOT an overkill after all
120fps @ ultra, 180 with DLSS
Bethesda should be ashamed
there’s alot of screen tearing in ur videos
does this mod disable achievement progress on steam?
Bro pls make 3090 review
So basically I cant play this on my 6800xt and instead have to play it on my 3060ti which is way weaker?! fuck is this game bro this shit is whack as fuck
have you tried 4060 with dlss?
Now all we need is a mod to remove those stupid pronouns and were good.
But why the gpu power is not Max out? Like in the video of 4070ti and 4080
this game is sadly more cpu heavy then gpu heavy =(
Classic Bethesda move. Release a disgracefully substandard product and let the modders clean up your shit.
…and if Bethesda stays true to form Starfield SE will be coming at some point in the future so we can all buy the game again. What a con.
kryzzp actually i just booted my pc into safe mode to do something and then my monitor displays input not supported and no keys are working at the moment and I can't even go into the startup repair screen
Thank you❤ It is okey for me , because this game struggels even with 4090. I have 4070 i7 13700f and 32 gb ram 55 is okey for me 😊.
FG on my 4070Ti at 3440×1440 is a game changer. Bethesda missed the mark shipping this with FSR exclusively. I dropped sharpening down to 20 and it looks almost native. Very hard to tell if you don't know what you're looking for.
F this game just test the new counter strike already, all you need is prime and a rank on matchmaking which is really easy to get (doesn't matter the rank)
Could you test Rx 580 after all it's legendary card ?
Now the AMD-optimized game looks and runs better on Nvidia GPUs
That shit looks so blurry
was not expecting this performance boost. Modders achieved this in a couple of days. Would be nice if multi-millionaire companies could accomplish the same with the very expensive cards we buy from them for pretty much this exact feature 🙂
Starfield boses be like we should of partnered with Nvidia 😂 that’s awful
Ive downloaded the FG mod aswell and I can now play this with 100% res scale (DLAA) and FG with well over 100FPS completely maxed out on a 4090 and no dips below 100. Previously I had dips to the 60s in intense areas. Plus it looks A LOT better than native. Set sharpening to 0 when using DLAA (100% resolution scale). My screen resolution is 3440×1440.
Can't wait until modders start putting FSR 3 frame generation into games as well
Hey Kryzzp, thanks for testing! I was quite surprised how shimmery/flickery/pixelated the image was after checking this mod (even by disabling DLSS3 and using only DLSS2 version). So I've started testing stuff. And it seems (like other people already wrote on the comments) the issue is with enableNisSharpening. Disabling this option brings back good image stability. Cons? It's soft(er) again. Still I prefer this look. I will check the ReShade adaptive sharpening next.
The fact RDR2 runs better, and Rockstar is known for having a shotty PC port…
[edit] and RDR2 looks better…
can you still get achievements with this mod or nah?
this mod deactivate the vsync ?
Seems like team red didn't want to get showed up on their own sponsored title so DLSS and FG was never added 🤣
Guys how do i view the in game FG overlay in game???
TODD HOWARD SAYS GAME RUN GOOD ON PC WE ARE ALL JUST POOR AND HAVE SHIT RIGS APPRENTLY
with fg on 2k make its run with same fps as 7900xtx for half it cost to buy
I literally have an RTX 4070ti and I get 100-109fps on ultra settings…. even on amd4
I've noticed a trend lately where new pc games are terribly optimized because the devs just rely on DLSS 2 and 3 to maintain playable frame rates. This feels like Bethesda made the same lazy decision but forgot to implement DLSS themselves
Bethesda not adding DLSS and frame generation is the biggest mistake. They should have never partnered with AMD as FSR is nowhere near as good as DLSS, contrary to what some idiots who can't afford a new RTX card may say.
