  1. For reference the AI issue is that they do not take their own reinforcements into account to determine a retreat. It only becomes an issue in these 200+ fleet engagements on attack.

  2. Normally to fix for bad pathfinding I'll click attack, then manually drag-move a ship to force it to face a position. Praetors and Subjugators are always particularly bad though, maybe it's something about the model that makes them want to spin broadsides or something?

  4. 28:59 If you try to hold right click to reorient the ship you have to mouse over the tip, or "nose", of the ship model as opposed to any arbitrary point on its selection box. IDK why that is but it generally works better that way. Also works when you have a group of ships selected, too, just select the pointy end of a VSD or something and that should apply the orientation you want across them all
