BTW noise is something you hear not see.
How is it on Xbox One?
Sony preferred a slight zoom in the image with less information in the frame, necessarily the console wins in FPS but there is less info compared to the Xbox
What mode are you guys playing on, gamers?
Loading times is pretty much what matters the most here, the rest are insignificant differences, but that difference is massive for a game that's going to take over 100 hours out of anybody looking to explore and complete as much as possible.
12 t-flops yo!
Sony Does, what Microdon't lol
Why not have a locked 60fps option on the ps5 version tho?
Remember how we were supposed to have 4K gaming three console generations ago, and we STILL don't?
…Pepperidge Farms remembers.
how tf we gonna ignore the elephant in the room for unstable frames…. VRR. poor optimization
Please explain the framerate comparison at the bottom of the side-by-side screens when they aren't even displaying the same images. How are the green and blue lines meant to be showing the relative frame rates of the two consoles when they apparently aren't even playing the same part of the game? I'm sorry, but that makes absolutely zero sense.
i'm so torn between playing this on ps4 on my ps5 for the solid 60 fps or just rolling the ps5 version and dealing with it
So in summary , this game best played in PS5 being the most powerful and optimized hardware for this game , followed by Xbox X, series s and last ps4 pro
VRR/Free/Gsync is amazing on PC where you have a thousand different hardware configs.
But on console, a developer has every opportunity to optimize their game for a fixed hardware spec.
VRR should not be a crutch on console
It's a nice perk, and it can smooth out some sync hiccups to help frame times, but it's not a miraculous cure all for all fps fluctuations.
And on console, VRR must not be a crutch to achieve adequate frame delivery. Optimize better first, before external display factors.
Why on earth didn’t they cap the frame rate in the quality modes, and then reduce resolution in performance to hit 60 closer.
I'm wondering what it is about this title that makes it run so poorly. It isn't a bad looking game, but its not that great either. Horizon FW is more intensive graphically and still manages to consistently hit 60fps in performance mode.
Theres no excuse for this… they're running on next gen technology
Picked it up for the PS5.. May get for the X if my bro wants to play coop
Ps5 players need the extra load times for the many death ls they encounter
So it runs better on ps5, is anyone surprised at this point? Microsoft lied about Xbox being the world's most powerful console and then brain dead ate it all up. 😆😆
unoptimised garbage. ill buy this in 3 years time
how do you play the ps4 pro version on the ps5?
