Where did you get solar panels from rough price and size please
Simon Laing, his company is called Fibre Glass It, and he has done the walls at a bakery in Manchester.
He's based in Stockport, fantastic bloke
I’m curious as to why you are fibreglassing walls rather than using hygienic wall liners, it would be good to get an understanding. Altro Whiterock, Saniclad, and other liners are available, I can understand fibreglassing uneven surfaces like old walls but I think it would still be quicker to line with CP board and then line over top with hygienic liner. The only thing to be careful of with liners is to ensure all the details, like edges are done properly. If fibreglass starts to debond it will eventually spread the whole wall. Armourglaze is a hospital spec paint on system, any good decorator can apply it with guidance from the manufacturer.
What a job. See scaffolding on the new shed again, for solar panels??
The parlor is 6 years older than me.
So happy for you congrats
Tom I'm glad that you're carrying on with with the dairy and raising cattle. For what i've heard from your dad and aunt and uncle there's quite a bit of history in the the milking room. That's really cool. Here in United States they either sale off their cows and walk away from the old dairies that they can't milk too many cows at a time. Or they build great big dairies to milk an outrageous amount of cows with 2 milking parlors and they milk 24/7 is what i've been told atleast when i took feed commodities to a couple of dairies in California.
Tom I’m a big fan of you I have had a picture with you
Hi Tom ,
Don’t fibre glass that’s 1970 s tech my neighbor is a industrial chemist and manufacture resin systems that are strong and quicker to apply you can have it in any colour and you guys could apply it your self
I loved this vlog, just to listen to your family talking about the history of the parlour. Heart warming, and acceptance of change. Can’t wait to see how the new parlour takes shape.
Hey buddy where can I get a cow brush from
That is going to look amazing!
I think he is having solar panels on the new shed
If you get a Box that can attach to the front of your manatoui front loader. You’ll be able to use the height on that, to wash the solar panels on the roof. Almost like a fire brigade box. When they’re putting out fires in tall buildings.
Just get white plastic on the walls
Good luck on your 10 wk target for the new parlour to be up and running tom. I'll tell you now, there's no chance, add 6, 8 wks or double your original 10. Sorry to be pessimistic, but I've been there, done it. Good luck.
You all are the hardest working people I know, and deserve all the praise and help you can get!!!!
Tom you're going to have to get on with producing the next generation and then you have someone to keep it all going for!!
Great video
Hi Tom I'm coming to 🇬🇧 probably next wk for a couple of mths. I'm really going to try n find you lovely farm n hope to say hello to you.
Why is every dairy(parlour) or vat room painted that exact shade of blue??? I need to know! Lol
Seeing your family in the parlour reminiscing was awesome. It's great to see their enthusiasim for the future.
Why u have scaffolding on the new building
What a blessing to document this on Video for all the PREM FAM ! What a legacy for old Mike and Ginger 👍
How much asbestos was in that building/roof??
do you still now me
Great to see progress, but can be bitter sweet with knocking old buildings…
Well done tom
As much as your uncle Mike said he does not want to milk again, I bet he’d be thrilled to do it again in the new parlour. Make his day Tom!
Could maybe add a opening skylight/walkway to the new roof so you can wash the pannels
