New RTS that Feels like Successor to World In Conflict!

Taking a look at Broken Arrow. A large-scale real-time modern warfare tactics game. Army building system. From a new Developer! The unit list and level of control is very impressive. This Demo is HARD!

  1. I was skeptical about this game when the only trailers they had were barebones, but this video has sold me on the game so far especially with the intro camera panning looking exactly like World in Conflict. Ammo situation looks arbitrarily low, and that's not really something I like in RTS games.

  2. I'm liking the look of this. I like Wargame: Red Dragon and Steel Division but the maps are always one big open square, feels like you have to always manage everything. This feels much more manageable and fun. Also looking forward to how moddable this is gonna be, can't wait for Halo, Star Wars, Mass Effect mods and so on. Gonna play the demo before Steam Next Fest ends!

  3. I just wish it was less gamey, more realistic and unforgiving, im a hard core milsim guy and the heavy attention to detail is something i appreciate especially after my time in the army i started paying a lot more attention to things

  4. Watched the video…..as you said we all should try this demo I had JUST clicked the download demo button on steam.

I missed World in Conflict so much and watched Red Dawn last night randomly, what are the odds.

  5. Trees don't break line of sight unless you enter the forest and sometimes enemies will still keep engaging you. Also who else was facepalming when shack sent his mortar to the front line lol Never change cap never change. edit also your points income drops based on casualties. More losses=Less income=Less reinforcements. Kinda cool in my opinion.

  6. Worth mentioning; you can use supplies to both heal/repair and rearm your units. Before the crossing you could have thrown a few thousand kg of supplies on a truck and dropped them. Units in a radius resupply, as shown. But you can also then pick up the supplies you haven't used to move them elsewhere!

  7. hey just wondering if theres a fix going out to empire at war or the mods because i dont think anyone can play it with mods rn. Edit: nvm they fixed it. Ik im slow cause I forgot or didn’t know you could call in more troops😂, this games looks like a blast and I can’t wait for it to come out

  8. WoC is one of my fave strategy games. When I saw this on Steam it gave me modern WoC vibes and I was down for that. Sadly the Demo didn't include a tutorial. So I quickly gave up for now, will defo try again at it's full release.

For example how clueless I was: I didn't know prior this video that you could call in units in the demo. I though that was a locked feature and you had to make use of the units you spawn with.

  9. This is the kind of long-form pushing and bunkering up I wanted to see from an SW: Empire At War sequel. (That and Battlefront style direct control mechanics, along with multiplayer unit sharing from Warhammer 3) It would be the perfect Star Wars RTS, IMO.
