  1. you are my dads idol i really want to try your food and compare it to his honestly the food that i could possibly want you to make is most likely a steak with if you have a personal secret sauce a side of collard greens and mashed potatoes and gravy on top and honestly you could also make some ribs i want to see if it tastes better than southern cooking

  2. I had the pleasure of meeting Gordon Ramsay at one of his restaurants back in 1992. He was a very polite and cool guy , so he made a good impression on me. Gordon had been a part owner in a restaurant that was owned by the same family for years, they had always been very close. One day, Gordon asked me if we could go to lunch and get a Footlong subway sandwich as he and Jared Fogle were good pals at the time.

We went to his restaurant, it was in an old warehouse that he had remodeled. We sat at a table and ordered our sandwiches, we were very hungry, so we ordered two. Jared and Gordon were talking, Jared was saying how much he loved the restaurant. Then Jared got up, walked over to Gordon and said, "I'm sorry about your friend, the owner, you should have told him that you were a friend of mine. You could have gotten him fired." Gordon looked at Jared, who was still sitting there, then he said.

"No I won't , I'll just take the sandwich." I looked over at Gordon, to see if he would say anything back. No, not even a smile. Just a cold stare. And that's how I met Gordon. That's the kind of guy I am.

  5. When it comes to “Gordon Ramsay reactions”, I just wish it were reactions to his cooking and not his ‘meltdowns’ on his shows. He is justified in those outbursts however I would love a channel to watch him cook and be in awe 🤷🏼‍♂️

  6. Boy, there hasn’t been bread this white in my kitchen for ages. 😮 Pain perdu is a lazy weekend favourite when I’ve got a loaf old enough for that (my sourdough bread stays super fresh for at least 4 days, so it’s usually eaten before it goes stale, unless I specifically put it aside). I’ll definitely add the steamed apples next time. But today, I made panettone…😋
