I would prefer One Man Doomstacks that are not trait managed.
I prefer "vanilla" doomstack.
Not because mods are bad or anything – play however you like. But what I really like are the ideas, the ingeniousness of the players who build the doomstack, whichever it is.
honestly i doubt anyone would put extreme effort of farming traits normally. from my view i play casual and i play to dominate game, not chase after specific lords to beat. seeing stacks without effort for some reason turns my interest of video off so i prefer ones with hard work
if you're taking votes on this, mine is for what is possible to achieve within the game's bounds. that is to say without trait manager. at the same time it would be interesting to see the same setup first without the trait manager and after with it.
Yo legend i know you hate the Tierlist Videos…but can you make video about traits and items ? (doesnt have to be a Tierlist). Also i think people left the channel because of the number of streams while the game itself was lacking content (and still does)
8:00 Plot summary of the House of Dragons on HBO
Can someone tell me what happened to yesterdays livestream
I don't mind the occasional cheaty one man doomstack using the mod, it is interesting to me to see what the upper limit is under ideal circumstances. That being said, I'd get bored of that super quickly and would prefer the bulk of the one man doomstacks to be legit. The legit one man doomstacks give me fun ideas for my own campaigns, which make them far more interesting to watch in my opinion
Imrik was so tough that even as Helman Ghorst I auto resolved because I took more casualties trying to fight it. This was pre healing cap "nerf"
Everyone knows Imrik is a 3rd rate duelist.
The best duelist are: skarbrand ,malus, Grombrindal,
I don't mind either type of one-man doomstack. One shows the true potential of a single lord, while the other shows what most people playing will likely get when trying to beef up their faction leader.
That said, I'd rather have both types in different categories. Since I like to see the true potential of LL's, I am never going to get them in my campaigns as it's too much effort to create them without a trait manager.
I probably won't put the time in for a one man doomstack to be sent in, but if I did I'd probably send in a non trait edited copy and a trait edited copy so the "full" potential of it could be seen
I like the ones that are a lot more usual to have in a campaign
Most of us will think it's GOOD. This channel was all about practicality of Warhammer and how to reach such heights by just playing. I would dare say most of us just want to emulate what other people do. Legend has taught us a lot, but we don't mind learning from others, just don't cheat flat out!
In principle I really don't mind seeing people use the trait farmer, I just think with WH3's AI being so much dumber and scaling so much less in terms of the number/strength of the enemies late game armies, it does feel kind of overkill at the same time.
I kind of feel that the one man doomstacks in WH3 are also a bit less diverse then in 2. Like I felt Malus, Teclis, Deathmaster, Malagore and Durthu for example all present different strengths, weaknesses and playstyles that define them as a one man doomstack, and it's fun/interesting seeing how they differ. I feel all the one man's that we've been seeing lately are either someone on foot, abusing the AI blob, or a flying unti who plays really slow to chip away the enemy's threats. Just a lack of diversity I guess. 🙂
personally id prefer to see 1 man doomstacks that are actually achievable within reason.
I think a few hard to get traits to showcase a powerhouse at full power is worth seeing. But the min maxed ones without any real campaign xp are a little boring.
I am alright if they teleport but actually defeat the people rather then just using a manager to add everything
I think Ghorsts defeat trait is pretty useful as well. Poison is pretty good, recieving 10% less dmg while you're in melee can make the difference.
Thanks for all your hard work over the years Legend. Best YouTuber by a million miles. Hope your doing well
What is the Shooting Star purple item?
Personally much prefer these achievable and reasonable doomstacks. The trait-managed ones are funny, but a bit stale as everything turns into a 1-man Doomstack whereas seeing whats practical makes it much more interesting.
Cheers for all the effort and time spent on these Legend.
Honestly, who cares if they use the trait manager?
Much prefer ones like these than the "fake" ones
I appreciate content like this. It gives more hope that we, gamers, can get it xD
overcheating OMDS really hurts the eye. Yes its damn good but not everyone plays like that. Sticking to vanilla and maybe, just maybe, at times have a bit of cheat is okay. a little cheese is fine. Great content and thanks to the one who submits this. Imrik is my 1st HE LL. Only strengthens my faith in the Prince of Caledor.
"I'm your brother but don't forget, I'm also your better" xD
Can't wait for the 10 turn guides 👌
Hey I appreciate you looking at my imrik doomstack! im still new to the whole doomstack thing and i just decided to try it out mid campaign when i was watching your videos, i did not intend this to be a one man doomstack i was just playing a normal campaign so i did lose out on a lot of good traits that are now extinct in that campagin but i decided to try it anyway and he was still strong, i appreciate the advice and maybe in the future i will dedicate a whole campaign just to get him up to his max strength and give him an ultimate challenge, but thanks again for looking at it keep up the good work!
Personally, I prefer watching these unfinished doomstacks. You're showing essentially what the earlier game (or late game if you don't rush traits) will look like.
As long as all the gear, and traits are covered, it doesn’t matter to me. If you ever came across a juiced Imrik, that would also be cool to see.
So this is how Aegon conquer Westeros
my vote goes for "natural" levelling
IF CA focuses on removing Cheese from the game would that make it more harder and enjoyable for Legend? skaven wont be happy obviously
Think I’m a bit behind the times….not been online for a while but is this trait manager legend goes on about, a mod??
Definitely prefer things I can emulate without going to extreme lengths.
I remember the 1 hour swooping video! That was a battle won through Focus, Commitment and Sheer Fucking Persevation!
Why legend giving up the streams?
Honestly regardless of what type of doomstack you showcase I'll be watching how you break it down and utilize it rather than be too worried about its legitimacy. I'd imagine certain interesting combos may only exist if they cheat.
cathay can get gotrek too
I like both, as long as we know what were watching. Its both interesting to see what is viable during the campaign and also what is theoretically possible.
no trait manager please. It's just cheating
I also prefer the imperfect doom stacks rather than the cheat ones. The former ones are an inspiration for what you might create, the other ones pretty useless and samey IMHO.
Hey, I don't mind lords that are moded. They can be fun to wath (like Nakarii recently).
As long as it's clearly stated that they are moded
I didn’t even know there was a trait manager…
I prefer seeing the more practical doom stacks. Works as a better reference to how the lord could function in a general campaign and showcases their strengths and weaknesses.
does anyone ever wonder how a freaking huge star dragon can fly inside a forest that is dense enough to block ranged attacks?
No more cheats
I really don't care if people cheat the traits, so long as the result IS possible within a normal game. The whole exercise is to explore what the game permits.
I'm up for 1 man doom stacks that I can create naturally without cheats.
