THE REVIEW
I watch each episode with my own commentary, often pausing the scenes to get my words out without having to talk over the episode, and also to point out and analyze the show’s art and animation. I have seen each episode already growing up, so these reviews are to compare and contrast the five categories listed below.
PLOT (Scaled from 1 to 5 Points)
The foundation of the episode. Uniqueness and overused tropes are taken into account, but it is also judged on how well it tells the story of the episode. An episode can score a 5 even with a basic/ cliche plotline as long as it has good pacing, worthy use of its tropes, and feels well-polished. An episode can lose points due to plotholes, uneven storytelling, and relying too heavily on cliches to do the work for it.
CHARACTERIZATION (Scaled from 1 to 5 Points)
How well the characters are written. Do they feel like themselves compared to the grand narrative of the franchise? Are the supporting or one-off characters interesting, or pure plot devices? Did the humor land? Did the actions and character motivations make sense?
VISUALS (Scaled from 1 to 5 Points)
Basically, everything that happens on-screen. Character Design. Animation. Backgrounds. Creative mechanics and solutions. If there is CGI or digital effects added, how well do they blend into the show, and were they used as an enhancement, or a crutch?
IMPORTANCE (Scaled from 1 to 5 Points)
This includes, but is not strictly based on, how important the episodes are to the current story arc (if there is one) or the general narrative of the Ben 10 Franchise. Points can also be awarded for how impactful the episode was, or how favored/ important it is to the general Ben 10 fanbase. I ask myself, “If I skipped this, would I be missing out on the ‘Ben 10 Experience?’ ”
ENTERTAINMENT (Scaled from 1 to 5)
Pretty much the most important part of developing a tv show. You can be perfect in all four of the previous categories, but the episode can still be boring. On the flip side, the episode can be absolute garbage, but still an enjoyable watch. How likely would you be to put this episode on if you were in the mood to watch Ben 10?

I think the red school uniform is like a rank thing we saw students wearing purple which could he higher and white could be lower and red is in the middle I had a rank system in my school but our ties were different so yes my theory is that it's a rank think which is cool😎

Dude that And Beyond Crazy Frog video better become real.
It was really interesting that Gwen attempts to maintain her civilian lifestyle while ben on the other hand just left that behind with the late Dwayne McDuffie stating bens lifestyle (presumably the hero) pushed his friends away just like from what we see with Gwen and Emily but the difference being is that Gwen actually is trying too keep her social life while Ben as shown in the episode doesn't seem to care if he loses friends or people hate him so long as they are safe showing you yet another glimpse of Ben 10000 with him realizing that with great power comes greater sacrifices in addition to responsibilities
Woulda been nice to see how Ben went on a date with Emily. I assume their date too place in UAF when Ben and Julie's relationship was on hiatus, but would still be fun to explore
I like how kuro the artist said it's ballzy of Ben to go against animo not in alien form and we find out it was supposed to be Kevin witch makes Scence I would not want to fight Kevin he is a criminal or anti hero
21:26 It looks like, rather than a "solve for x" type problem, she's teaching polynomial long division. When she writes x4 it's probably meant to be x^4, etc.; she's going to be demonstrating dividing one polynomial by another to get a quotient and a remainder.
I would imagine this having better reception by the fans if it came before George was revealed. Like after their adventure with Paradox and Ultimate Ben.
This episode was okay but man would I die just to see some action🤩🤩
Kuro, you can be invulnerable without being strong enough to back that up.
The Worst is invulnerable and is barely stronger then a human so Cannonbold having higher defence then attack power is plausable.
Someone leaked all the characters coming to multiverse and ben was apart of it.
The way we know its true is because they got black Adom, LeBron James, and Rick and Morty right
only a matter of time
ok so Kevin mentions how he wants his car to be water proof several times throughout the series and I thought there was going to be a big pay off with that and they never do anything with it lol but I guess Kevin does everything proof his car in omniverse
Inigo Montoya?
kuro cosplaying as captain hook, but without the hook
The early episodes of Alien Force gaver me the impression that Gwen went to same school as Ben.
I would love to see Ben and Animo fight hand to hand with no powers
Instead of wondering if Ben injured Emily, you should be thinking, that If Ben went on a date with Emily, and webbed her to a radio tower, and she knew it was him. Then that means Ben went out with her during the events of Ultimate Alien, while he was still in a relationship with Julie
I think I would unironically watch a "Kuro Does Algebra" series lol
21:56 bro that legit caught me off guard. Well done man.
A bit off topic but I remember when I first watched this episode, I felt that this was kinda what was the plan for Ben and Julie's relationship.
As an example, in many Batman comics, Bruce frequently bounces between love interests because of his paranoia, personality and is often the "only way he can get a bit of pleasure in life" whereas his peers like Supes and Diana are often depicted in stable relationships.
I've always felt Ben 10 was kinda trying to go for that with Ben and Julie. Like, yes, Ben has a girlfriend with Julie but a combination of his duties as a superhero and also his personality traits like his ego, immaturity and teenage horniess meant he wouldn't be a good boyfriend to Julie while Julie doesn't see that until much later.
Like, imagine if this was an intentional side story in Ben 10 UAF. That initially it appears like a bit of power fantasy that Ben has both a cute girlfriend and other girls falling for him but then deconstructed that to show how actually that would be more of a jerk move
The background at 6:59 really gives me Edward Scissorhands vibes. I know the colors aren't there, but this style of neighborhood really reminds me of that movie.
The scene of Gwen holding up the shield against the mutant frogs while the classical music plays in the background gives me big Evangelion vibes.
