Live @ the Lakefront has returned in 2022 for a thirteenth season at Discovery World with eight concerts, running Wednesdays until August 31 from 6 to 9:00 p.m. RAIN or SHINE!
MPBS’s live stream will begin around 5:30pm.
On July 27th, Live @ the Lakefront welcomes Milwaukee Blues ambassadors, The Blues Disciples!
A professional musician since 1978, Cathy Grier’s undeniably powerful voice and tasty Blues guitar affirms her place on the world stage. Part storyteller, part blues traveler, Cathy formed Cathy Grier + The Troublemakers in 2017 with a stellar lineup of Wisconsin’s top blues players. Their album I’m All Burn was in the top 100 for 2021 of the RMR Contemporary Blues Charts.

The RCM Maritime Committee, in partnership with Discovery World, The Bartolotta Restaurants and Harbor House, present this free concert series to the city, catering to families and a sophisticated, professional downtown audience while celebrating the diversity of Milwaukee’s rich musical tastes and traditions. The outdoor 350-seat Rotary Amphitheater plays host to some of the finest talent across genres in the area all playing their own original music. All concerts are produced for LIVE streaming on Milwaukee PBS by TV and eProduction Students at MATC/MPBS.
Artists play original music… Audiences dance the night away… and everyone enjoys the beautiful Milwaukee Lakefront!!
Our Live at the Lakefront Summer Series 22’, features concerts from a mix of genres from eight accomplished original musical groups from around the country. Our naturally beautiful Lake Michigan provides an incredible background for their performances.

We had so much fun performing at Live @ Lakefront. Having the students there learning the skill of live video production was super cool.
