  1. Definitely a great song. Sounds like Maiden. Blaze really challenging his range at the very end and sounding good. Lighting Strikes Twice and this are my 2 favorites and the rest of the album is good in my opinion.

  2. Yeah another great song from this very solid album, next The Educated Fool, I'm not sure about this one but it's ok. I would hope after listening to this that when you listen to X Factor again you might appreciate it a bit more, anyway I know were not quite there yet but I can't wait to see what you make of the reunion album "Brave New World" I will say this though it sounds killer after listening to Virtual XL.

  3. I had forgotten this song even existed. Honestly, I think Blaze's solo stuff is better than this watered down Maiden sound. Solos are pretty bad on this album imo.

  4. I like the prog part during the vocal break before the solos and after the first guitar line. It sounds cool. Wish they would have came back to it.
The rest of the song is nothing special for me but at least it’s not cringe inducing.

  5. I saw Blaze Bayley live in concert in 2013 at a small St. Paul bar in Minnesota… he did play 'When two worlds collide' along w/ 'Futureal'… 'The Clansman'… 'Man on the edge'… 'Look for the truth'… 'Lord of the Flies'… and some of his solo songs… Sadly, only 20 people were there to see the show, but he did the full set at 100% 🔥🔥
He met w/ everyone after the show and signed autographs – a real cool bloke! 🤘🤘

  6. Educated Fool was my fav off this album for quite some time. Prefer Lightning Strikes twice more now days but yeah, next song is pretty good and think you’ll like it.

  7. OK doesn't quite belong here, but there are a few songs by Blaze, meaning his band, that aren't bad at all. I just want to name one song here. I think you like it, it's a little more punchy. "Robot" is a short (3 minutes) song that I always enjoy listening to. Nice and fast played with the right pressure behind it.

  8. An ok song, I don’t rate it that highly. Blaze’s limited vocal range is noticeable especially at the end of the chorus. And at the risk of sounding repetitive but…like many songs in this era, well, it’s repetitive.
