Watch this video to see what it’s like to travel with Atlantic Airways to one of the most remote, inhabited places in the North Atlantic Ocean, the Faroe Islands.
In this video, you’ll see our trip from Norway’s capital, Oslo to Vagar Airport in the Faroe Islands.
You’ll get a sense for what it’s like to travel from Oslo’s Central Train Station to the city’s airport and the airport experience once we’d arrived. Spoiler Alert: Thanks to a pilot’s strike, it was a bit of a mess. Also, because Atlantic Airways only offers service to Oslo a couple of times each week, it was even more confusing. But we’ll clear it up for you in this video.
Once onboard, you’ll see Atlantic Airways’ seat, inflight entertainment, menu, and other amenities. And, at the end, we’ll rate it all using the unscientific JebScore!
We’ll even show you some of the greatest highlights from next week’s video featuring the experience we had while we were in the Faroe Islands!

1:15 Arrival at Oslo Airport
3:45 Boarding Atlantic Airways A320
5:20 Atlantic Airways A320 Departure
8:02 Atlantic Airways A320 Arrival in the Faroe Islands

All thumbs up 🙂
Great vlog as always! When you flew UA to BGO I was sure you guys would take the Smyril line ferry to Færøyene or Iceland, but you fooled me. Lol! The airport at Vagar had the world record for 737 ops. Flying in/out using a 1200m 3600ft rwy. With a reduced load of course. The airline Mærsk flew the route for yrs. What airports are alternats you ask. Norway, Scotland, Iceland or Denmark. Now you know! Fun fact no.2 RC pilots always uses the door that is not into the weather. So it can be door A or B. Looking forward to the next one! P.S. I have to ask you to watch Kara and Nates vlog. It was posted today. It is insane! It is a journey for guys like us. Lol!
Four years ago when I took Atlantic from Vagar to CPH some snacks were free…
You haven't said what your jobs are. Have asked politely many times. Silence is deafening. Makes you appear to have a fake facade for YT.
great videos but I'd suggest skipping the Jebscore. I just stop watching at that point.

Check out “Matt’s Moments”
Kenya 🇰🇪 Airways
Jeb, I hope you were able to be there for the dolphin slaughter, I am told it is truly a sight to behold. I mean why else visit the islands if not to support that practice of the government and the people?
Hey Jeb and Suzanne, I want to do a round-the-world trip on budget carrier some time next year. Do you know of any transatlantic LCC that flies from South America to either Africa or Europe?
This is totally awesome. I'd love to go see it.
Jeb, you don't post videos on YouTube – you post documentaries on YouTube.
Thank you very much for sharing your wonderful documentary with us.
I would love to try Qatar airlines 🤩
Jeb your travels and videos are great. And you and Suzanne are probably the nicest people ever. Also do a great job at foreshadowing future videos
I just love this channel!
I love your videos can you do American Airlines hub hopping i’m in aviation in the US like you being on an airplane really interest me keep up the great work!!!
I think of the airlines as a magic carpet.
Always interesting to see / fly new airlines when you’re in another country.
I was in Switzerland a few weeks ago and spotted a Pegasus Airlines, Edelweiss, and a few other interesting ones.
Being a frequent flier on Atlantic Airways I can confirm its a great Airline and The Faroe Islands is a great country 🙂 hope you enjoyed it
Absolutely fantastic trip report guys!😸
Those onions look toxic
I have wanted to visit Australia because of Qantas airlines – seems like the way to go. I have not seen an Airbus A320 with such large winglets – usually they are just the teeny ones, one up and one down. Must be on the new models. I know the A321 has the large winglets. I did look at A320 photos to confirm that they was a later feature.
Jeb you should do the flight on Air Greenland from Copenhagen 🇬🇱
Jen and Suzanne, you should try Azores Airlines who serves the Azores Acappella group of 9 islands and Madera. Flights are available from several European Countries and the east coast of North America
jeb i agree , another level in that type of destination
Jeb are you related to Mel Brooks 🙂?
5:15 you can see airBlatic special livery
austere……..lol
flinty..?..
Laughed at 3:15. So that is where the Ethopian pilots ended up after their snooze in the cockpit 🤣
Let's all be honest, you aren't a true avgeek if Air Koryo isn't at/near the top of your list as the flag carrier you want to fly most.
That plane at 5:05 is Irish registered. Even if I didn't see the Irish and EU flags on it, the EI registration is a giveaway.
Azores Airlines. Guess which country?
Jeb, I still have fingers crossed you will be doing a Tailwind Air trip Boston-NYC before they shutter for the season. Haven't seen any travel YouTubers do the seaplane excursion yet and it would make for great content.
Always enjoy learning about new airlines I haven't heard of!
Would love to visit the Faroes!
Jebby you said nothing and showed nothing of the Walmart the Dairy Queen and Dollar Tree. I gots to see if them Norway's got it better dan us. Come on Jebby don't fight the force !!!!
nice video
Jeb, your description of a place is that of the wondrous view of a child!! Never change! Suzanne is lucky to have you!! Look forward to learning more about the Faroe Islands!
Another great vlog and to islands I wish to visit and on an airline I wish to fly on plus once again it’s made more special by having your good lady wife included in the vlog so defo more of these please 🙏
Hey Jeb and Suzanne…looks like it's gonna be an informative and really enjoyable series of vlogs from this trip to the Faroe Islands .
Can't wait for the next one.
If only it was a 2hour flight from where I live, I will put this destination on my "bucket list"
I want to fly Air Madagascar…that's #1 on my flagship carrier bucket list.
FYI, "Wideroe" is pronounced "vee-deh-roo-eh"
My vote goes to LOT Airlines since I am of Polish ancestry.
The Faroe’s might be a pretty looking place but never ignore the fact that there’s some dark little secrets that most wouldn’t know. Every year hundreds of whales and dolphins are herded into shallow bays in the Faroe’s where they are beached, killed and butchered for their meat in the name of cultural practice. In 2021, 1428 Atlantic white-sided dolphins were killed and suffered prolonged death in the process. This practice needs to stop, majority of the people of the Faroe’s doesn’t even consume whale/dolphin meat, why does such cultural practices still seen in 2022?
Glad you two are adventurous so the rest of us can "go" with you! The airlines I'd like to try is the First Class Emirates. Only because of your videos!
