awh hell yeah back again with my fav youtuber
Echo there is a feature in the game like the natural tiles that lets you use water….
oh neat. i just finished catching up to this playthrough
This makes me wonder, would it be possible to build a sour gas boiler with a geothermal vent?
Goto space, find some pacu, start making fish fillets 😁
this save has more farms than the actual farm series….
Danger!! 28:33 deconstructed cooling loop confirmed 29:45 by no liquid moving
So, when are we reaching full automation?
I love the new resource loops in the dlc, but it feels like they need some tweaking to balance out. Mostly I'm just glad there's a use for the co2 vent into later game now.
Grats on completing the achievement, but I must say I'm disappointed that this attempt didn't result in the Chaos your first try did. 😆
Oh yeah! To get rid of that spot of "unknown", you need to build a standable tile underneath it and tell a dupe to move to the unknown tile. It'll reveal all connected unknown areas.
A disconnected vent will continue to work. It doesn't stop venting.
Love the series! What is the advantage of using the conveyor chute + weight plate combo instead of a conveyor receptacle?
This geothermal plant can give a minuscule amount of usable stiff, if fed by magma-hot liquid…
The next goal should be world domination
Plume! Pluuuume!!!
Almost 700 cycles in. It's time to tackle the hurdle. The plumbed washroom.
They even have plumes on the top of them! How hard is it to actually read the word on the screen, anyway?
I find it really funny that the seals are essentially shitting out hard liquor.
i suggest trying to collonize planets you havent before! like the ocean planet, the gassy moo planet, the shovvole planet and such. it would be pretty cool seeing options for how you would tackle those wacky planets and make use of them
You should try to use the Geothermal heat pump for cooking Oil into Petroleum 😅
Why the chute+weightplate system, when you could also just use a conveyor receptacle? Unless that's locked behind research?
Quite inventive using naphta. I used liquid glass straight from the forge.
You could use the extra wood from trees to make more ethanol for Squash and Petroleum generators. Or you could sieve the Pwater, dump the water into an open cold tank, use a robo-miner to mine the ice, and only have to use the ice makers to make snow. Yes you lose half, but you have infinite access to both Pwater and brine , so a controlled setup with the ice block/robo miner could ensure a steady supply of ice without tapping you out of geothermal fuel or fertilizer.
Congrats on the achievement. I'm cool with anything as long as we get some more chaos. Maybe not zombie size chaos but you know I will take what I get 😉
21:00 echo remains the king of underinsulating very hot areas
this base is like if the Starship Enterprise had outhouses.
I wouldnt want to be responsible for plunging Worf's!
and does Riker throw his leg over the tank to sit down?
You dont have to get the heat up to 350 to pop the bloackage it only needs to be around 180.
oh crap the Cooling Loop isnt going 28:30 deconstructed the bridge can still see nothing moving in the overlook at the end dont forget to fix!!!!!!
Question wont infinite water storage help minimal the space?
what happend? there is no like button, even after reloading and on my smartphone.
Another great video! Love to see you engaging with the new stuff wholeheartedly and not just reusing the usual solutions that people have learned
Hey FYI I'm pretty sure abysallite actually can transfer heat, but only via "flaking" liquids into gases
Echo: "metal is at a premium."
Also Echo: "I'm gonna build 16 auto sweepers and rail systems."
All this fuss about a cold planetoid and struggling to establish stable power supply, after multiple blackouts, just to gain a piece of rocky poo in the eyes of dupes. Truly amazing ending.
would a gulp fish farm in a cold polluted water tank connected to a cool slush geyser be able to produce enough ice for the alveo veras?
Ideas of things to do:
1: fill squash farms. Going up to 20 seals means you should have plenty of ethanol to fill out the second farm
2: Finish science
3: Plumbed bathrooms. Maybe tie in a hot tub as that has frosty DLC interaction. What interaction? Part of the fun is finding out 🙂
4: Flood a small planetoid with naphtha because reasons. Maybe the one that you have the teleport to as that would be easier to get the plastic/naphtha to.
5: Experiment with the geothermal plant. Pumping water through is the east was to use it. Maybe there is another liquid with more thermal capacity you can pump through to get even more power out per activation.
Hey echo, i noticed you still had that "unknown" There
I got rid of mine by crushing it with mechanical doors. Try to use the "cursor Icon" And rotate the door so that envelops the "unknown"
You can't directly build on it so use the tile connecting to "reach for it"
Open and close (by dupe entering or automation) then voila!!! You crushed the void
so the reason your math was off with the seals is because the trees actually produce less nectar than when they are actually planted in tiles, I haven't figured out the exact difference yet, I know wild they produce 33.3 G/s when all 5 branches are at 100% when its wild, which does come out to the 20KG the in game Database says just in general. The database does also show that for 100KG/cycle of snow, you get 80KG/cycle of nectar, which comes out to 133.3G/s with all 5 branches at 100%.
the only reason I'm making these assumptions instead and calculations is because I don't have any naturally planted ones, just a whole bunch of wild planted ones up in space that I stuck pipes on
Try melting the planet
In the name of science and the safety of future dupes, I vote conduct some experiments to see how warm the Warm Coat really is!
