I'm subscribed but I'm tired of hearing the subscribe speil! It's starting to put me off even watching.. 😒
I like the parts where you tell us about the obvious items you are placing for decor in the video. As someone with perfect vision, it's really helpful. (just teasing :p)
This makeover is my soul!!!! I was supposed to be part of the prohibition and the art deco feel. My only critique is I am so surprised you didn't cover the cords to the lamps on the feature wall 😮 it's like a pimple.
This make over, re vamp, actually step back in time is perfection. ❤❤❤❤😊
what can't Graeme do…?!
Love the room, especially the fringed lamp, the buffet, and the mirror! The only thing I personally wouldn’t have added is the disco ball as I don’t think it goes with the theme of a speakeasy. Another amazing video!!! 😊
Absolutely love this!
👍🏼🤗💙
They and their friends are going to have so much fun in this space. Party central.❤
Great makeover. Now they need a dance floor in the next room
idk if the disco ball fits the 1920s aesthetic haha
Love how it turned out- great colors !!!
I think this is my favourite transformation. Kudos, you did amazing! ❤️
Ooo THAT WALLPAPER ❤
Maybe put a tray or chopping board over the stove?
See, now I want to see this style translated into a baby nursery or a playroom. Just moody and art deco and saturated!! love it.
I thought you could get rid of the stove since they are not using it at all. It really ruined the space :/ The colors are amazing, love what you did with the place!
Blown away or better yet … Transported in time! Such poshy fun!!!💖
This is gorgeous 🤩
I'd just like to share: I was at my first 3D printing class the other day and saw a bottle of isopropyl alcohol. Out of nowhere I found myself giggling, pointed and blurted out "Hah! ISOPOPO!" 🤦♀️
Also, is it just me or does Graham remind anyone else of Cillian Murphy?
Hats off to team AG for once again For another mind blowing renovation, incredible such talent, no matter how much and how many times I watch your channel. You guys still put me at aww kudos to you Alexander for your vision and your team for all the hard work love love love your channel. I’ve been watching you for very long time. God bless.
Wow!!!😮 y’all knocked it out of the park! OK so I’m old enough to know what a speakeasy looks like and remember the vibe of it as well and you did ex excellent hit the nail on the head! Love the colors was kinda wandering at first, but after you pulled it all together absolutely gorgeous and you did a excellent job with this one not that you don’t all the time but this one has to be one of my favorites!
I wish that the wallpaper pattern was larger. In the close-up it really does look Art Deco! Great match on the buffet to pattern! I was just thinking the sconces should have fringed shades and…voila – fringe lamp!😂 Definate vibe, a speakeasy Halloween party would be great here!! TFS
Great transformation. I love many of your ideas. I'd like though if you have use more variety in where you source furniture and lighting. Especially the gold painted lighting fixtures feel a bit gimmicky. Vintage lighting would often give the rooms an even more interesting, authentic vibe.
This is sooooo good, wow🤩
This is a lot of fun! I can just imagine the guests smoking imaginary cigars & getting into the vibe of the place.
Just an idea, if they want to hide the stove (since it's unused), they can search for a stove cover or if they don't find one in the same vibe, some velvety fabric draping all over will work, even the fan over it can be covered in green velvety mini curtains.
It look you were having some much fun on this video, it was really nice to watch.
Très réussi! on oublie le four blanc pourtant bien imposant! et le coin bar🤩🤩🤩
I love it!! Great job! 😊🩷
Did Alexander just pronounce the color mauve as mo-vee??????? What the?????
It'd be handy if the light covers come with a small bottle of same colored paint to cover the screws.
hey Alex, love your work ❤ I'm looking for that video when you made a kitchen island from scratch, it had wheels you could lock in place. please help me locate it, my kitchen needs it 😊
Sooo cool 😎❤
Oh my goodness a basement speakeasy is mine and my husband's dream so we will definitely be coming back to this video.
Wonder if they can remove the stove since they are not using the kitchen, for a little more space near the table?
I love your "brown/green" dress! 😉😆😂
Very tall humans need blood sugar monitoring and at the very least, more evenly spaced meals, at least six per day to maintain mood, energy and functionality. Take care of our man, he uses a lot of kinetic energy and brain energy.
I love that mirror!!!❤
You guys ROCKED IT AGAIN!!!!
Freaking AMAZING that the FB Market Place cabinet matched the cocktail glasses in the wallpaper!
The Game Cabinet was a perfect invitation to “Game Night.”
The Color-changing Globes are FANTASTIC and fun!
The cocktail bar was my favorite color – Yummy Copper! Oh, and remember, you can always layer in Himalayan Pink Salt Lights. Not only do they provide texture, go well with copper, but they clean the air as the light heats the salt up. Pink Salt kills molds that many basements have – so they can be a perfect $50-$100 addition.
Items for the couple to look for to add when they go to spruce it up in the Spring or Summer are:
1) 2 12-inch high, spiral staircases for plants to go around those strange pillars in the kitchen between the countertops & cabinets. The staircases are usually found in garden shops for plants, but can also be used for crazy, large coffee mugs or super-large cocktail glasses – like margaritas in brilliant colors.
2) Pillows and or fabric covers for the chairs – make certain you consider your Moroccan pom-poms for Season Changes. In fact, those could be new items to carry in your store. I’m certain the Moroccan Artists you interact with can develop MANY different chair cover options with dreamy fabric – Think: Wedding chair covers with bows, Tapestry chair covers with poms, Fairy chair covers with sparkle lights… the options are endless and take less than 20 minutes to put on 6 chairs. That could be an entire new line of products which quickly update the entire room.
3) Cookbooks that cover: appetizers, Super Bowl party foods, cocktails, mini desserts for 1-2 people, Star Trek Parties (yes it’s a thing – William Shatner is Canadian – Lololol), and other ways to use their little stove
4) A Retro-Mirror Music Counterpart. Speak Easies usually have Jazz, Blues or Rhythm & Blues – Think: Billie Holiday, Ray Charles and Marvin Gay. I think something that has light and can hang on the wall – like a CD music player with LED lights to reflect off the Disco Ball.
You KNOW the AG TEAM is just BRILLIANT and I love to Riff-&-Enhance your ideas to the next level!
You ALL BANGED it Out of the PARK!!!!
Hugs & Loves
& I Hope you get invited to a Game Night!!!!

What colour are the walls?
When I first saw the design idea, I was like, omg! This is so not it! Until I saw it finished, SO IN LOVE 💘WITH IT!!!!
I think this may have looked better in person because it did not translate on the screen at all in the reveal – it looks cluttered (which normally your reveals never do). I don’t like the look of all the games inside that cabinet, maybe they could have been arranged or sorted differently, to be more visually appealing? Also the cocktail bar top was too full, and the poker chips on the table looked a mess. You’d have been better off with a dried floral or even a table runner, or just a vase or candle on the table in a tray to have a clean and styled look. I also agree with the comments the table looked too big for room. The elements work, the styling just needed to be pared back to bring it all together. I’d try a ‘take 2, different styling video’.
I would have left the floors as they were and put down rugs instead makes it too busy with the art deco wallpaper. That would be a room I would not go into makes the ceiling feel lower. I would have coffered the ceiling using a paint pattern. The furniture is too dark makes the stove stand out. That lighting is too big for the room. I would have done lamps and done a more art deco square light for the ceiling that doesn't intrude into the room as a very low ceiling to do that other light. Those curtains are terrible a paper blind or even a gold beaded curtain or faux leather fringe would have done better. A second mirror opposite the small window would make it less claustrophobic. I would have done the cabinets navy blue not green.
But if they like it more power to them 🙂
What I don't understand, is why you guys keep the oven, if they doesn't used it like ever? They mentioned this, and that they using mostly the fridge because of the drinks. That part doesn't make sense to me.
It's a "hell no" for me! I could not live in that! It looks like a brothel.
