  1. Black Market Vendor definitely had the suspicious tech I think there's more if you scrolled down. I've been using this method and moldy balls for nanite generation. Also I don't know if you're willing, but you can save scum and reload to max out frigate modules at the station. I know a lot of people are morally against this. 😂

  2. On your comment about being able to dismantle the only weapon on a crashed ship: my experience has been that I can do so if the weapon is damaged, but not if it is in working condition.

  3. Why waste time moving tech & cargo into your suit then back again when swapping ships/freighters? Simply uninstall the tech into the old ship's/freighter's cargo, then in the claim screen for the new one you can switch between the vessel's cargo & tech screens. Choose 'cargo' & quickly transfer everything from old to new, then claim (sadly you can't transfer tech directly: it has to be uninstalled). Once the new one is claimed, you can reinstall the tech straight from that vessel's cargo screen

That Imperial Star Destroyer freighter you looked at briefly had a 'land here' icon on it that may have been a further reward from the dreadnought battle had you talked to its captain

Next time you show off the dreadnought battle, will you show the 'trench-running' method of gaining their surrender?

  4. I got the autophage mission without having to do any settler missions. I did have to complete the entire main story first. Is doing the settler missions a short cut to get the autophage quests?

  5. for the pirate dreadnaught, I also take the engines out first, but dont even bother with the guns. Just go after the shield modules (marked at the start) on each side, then go back around and take them out again (a new thing pops up from the destroyed shield module)

  6. Anyone else having problems with Freighter Refiners losing items. If I get the refiners going then either leaving on my ship, warping to another station or logging off, the refiners are always empty when I return.

    Is this a known problem?

  7. The move the base thing…..wtf. I'm new to NMS, and I have wasted SO much time passing on those first freighters because I wanted at least an A class. I didn't want to save scum it, so been just seeing what's what as I explore. Didn't care about money, I have like 190 million currently, but I didn't want to put in a bunch of effort building out my freighter just to have to redo it when I upgraded. Never realized I could just move my dang base over. That is some QOL stuff there. Next freighter is 100% mine.

  8. I was playing Liquidators Expedition, and stumbled into a pirate system with a big ol' Dreadnaught being nasty. Took out his engines and then the big guns and was "invited" to talk over their terms of surrender. Soon as I got out, I did the old "scan the floor" trick you taught me, and it was an S Class! It's gorgeous! I spent all day tricking it out, and it looks great. This may wind up becoming my "main" save after the Expedition is over. Learned all you taught, sitting on around 165M and much of my inventories are fully opened. I'm being a Bob! 👍🏼

  9. I cant even find a Class A interceptor …. 🙁 Even was on a planet, took me ages to find a locator because killing the guardians takes ages for some reason just to learn that there are no ships -.-

  10. Having only one frigate doesn't make it invulnerable. I didn't have to actually repair any of the systems of my single frigate though. They repaired when I landed on it.

  11. You clearly know a lot more about the game than I do. Nonetheless, my mindset is of a military background. I always send at least one combat ship, and one support ship, and fill out with the ships appropriate to the mission type. I almost always rake in a good haul of credits and / or goods. (more than what your screen was presenting by far.) Just my 2 cents worth….

  12. I believe in order to do the autophage stuff you have to complete the main story then you have to unlock a terminal at an autophage camp before it will trigger
