Great
The sandwich loses weight when you add a carrot because it's eating healthier 👍
I can't wait until the fan finds him
If you get double the money for betting on the right arena figher to win, how does the ticket seller get money?
1. If more money is bet on the losing side, he earns money.
2. If equal money, he earns nothing.
3. if more money on the winning, he owes money.
Seems like a risky business model to me.
you can raise unarmed combat just by watching the npcs that are sparring outside the arena
"My granny could beat you, and she's dead."
I wouldn't give a necromancer ideas like that. Next thing you know you get beaten by your dead grandma.
I love that you're actually role-playing into all the game systems. I grew up on Oblivion, so I can't ever get the feeling of discovery back from the game whenever I decide to do a nostalgia run – since I already know all the mechanics. Watching you is a bit like vacriously re-discovering the game again.
As amusing as it is to watch someone in 2022 try to wrap their head around the Oblivion leveling system, Id like to point out one major pressure release valve. If it gets too hard, lower the difficulty. Easy as that. Better than stressing over which skills you have to use to maximize levels. He’s kinda in trouble in the long run, anyways, by being a generalist.
I beat Oblivion and all of its DLCs without ever understanding or worrying about this levelling system. Didn't even know it was a thing until now. So I'm not sure you need to stress about it too much.
Second interaction for the algorithm
My god the compression on this is awful. Thanks YouTube.
I love this game and this playthrough so much more than Skyrim. And I put 200 hours into Skyrim and never played Oblivion. I see why people want a remake. Jon you absolute star. Brilliant content.
Jon's 0 perception also applies to colour.
Jon: "Finger off the jump button, Don't jump!"
Also Jon: jumps over logs and rocks instead of running around them
I don't know if Jon reads these comments but: the most important attribute in this game is endurance as it increases maximum HP per level and it does NOT work retroactively. If you take maximum endurance increase every level you will have more than 50% HP at level 10 compared to if you take it every other level and almost double compared to if you don't level it up at all
Jon has the ancient Roman spirit. Prefers to fights with an oval shield and a short sword.
Should put the mods ur using in the description
Your the best
Feather spells are from the Alteration school. Edgar Vautrine sells Ease Burden. (I'm assuming several of us have told you that…) It's one of the first ones my characters get.
This play through has made me replay oblivion but specifically try and max out all my skills and attributes. I am going to spend so many hours running
Jon, The Welkynd Stones completely restore your Magica!!
"Alright, time for bonking!" – Jon, 2022
I think you can shoot the stones down with magic and/or arrows.
FYI Folks anyone considering buying TES IV shop around, its £15 on steam and I just got the deluxe edition for £4 easier than digging out my ancient original physical copy.
I can't wait till Jon finds out that you can shoot the stones down with flare rather than arrows
Easy safe storage…any clam shell.there is one right under the bridge by imperial prison…also the three stump inside the city in the alley/mini park spot
"We're not going to judge the house more harshly just because it's currently raining"
Spoken like a true Brit
Not gonna lie, all the minmaxing in a first time playthrough is kinda putting me off
In that village in front of the bridge is a fisher man you can get a quest from that gives you a pretty nice magical ring.
Akatosh is the One , he is the Odin, Ra or Zeus of the religion, the "all father" deity
Jon selling the varla stones and not keep some welkynd stones for instant magika regeneration killed me inside
I genuinely hate how the wolves whine every time you hit them.
Makes you feel like a monster when their trying to eat you.
I honestly just skip past every wolf encounter because of it.
It only took Jon 4 episodes to feel "ready" to actually start playing the game. Never change bud.
