  1. "I can't be losing, I'm winning!"

Makes me remember my M11 pre-release. Semi final of top 8.

Opponent, still at 20 life, Playing RW, has a few small creatures and a Sun Titan equipped with Sword of Vengeance.

My side was empty and he had me at ~5 life.

On my turn, top deck and cast Act of Treason on the Sun Titan, swing, getting Volcanic Strength from my graveyard, mountain walk over for 10 dmg then Fling it for the last 10 dmg.

It was the most satisfying "WFT just happened" I've ever did.

  2. Some ideas
    “First person to brainstorm fetch”
“First person to realize necropotence was good”
“First person to realize Oko was good”
“Person who figured out lantern control”
I absolutely love these skits so much

  3. I've never played magic, but many other card games and putting a card in your deck that only gets good when you're losing seems like a mistake, when you can include cards that just make you win more. Unless it's easy to damage yourself quickly and the game is slow enough that finish off someone on low health isn't super easy, which might be the case since defending is a thing in Magic right?
I love game theory like this, so real magic players please enlighten me

  4. Honestly the 1 thing that always annoyed me the most and why I don’t miss quitting games like this is an opponent that narrates everything you do before you have a chance to declare it. It’s like… I know, it’s my deck, I know how it works, shut up and let me play my turn

  5. I use Death's Shadow in my Scavenge deck… It's not the best idea or deck, but I love the first reaction when I say "I pay one mana and exile DS to put 13 +1/+1 counters on X creature."
