When Zoy was 11 the apocalypse started, and her family abandoned her. She had nowhere to go but the woods because there was too crowded forest for zombies to come in.
She kept hearing screams coming from the city, still being infected by zombies. Suddenly Zoy found a small cabin. She decided to explore further, and found that it was organised and clean.
Suddenly she heard the door slam behind her, and a tall and slim figure approached her. “What are you doing here?!” Asked the tall teenager. Zoy didn’t answer and stepped further and further back while the other teen was slowly approaching her.
Zoy felt her back hitting the wall and sank down and crumbled together. “Who are you? And why did you decide to go into some random aßß cabin?” Zoy looked up and shook her head while slowly rising from the low position. “Well, th-the apocalypse? Isn’t that what you’re here for too?”
The tall teenager raised an eyebrow while slightly tilting his head.
“What apocalypse? I’ve lived here my whole life!”
Zoy raised her eyebrows with a look of judgement and shock. “Like… you’ve never seen the city? Before or during the apocalypse?” The guy now looking down at her looked even more confused.
“What city? I’ve only been living here. And I’ve of course also visited the others at the village but-“
Zoy stopped the tall teen, mid-sentence. “What village?..”
