In this Broadcast Award-winning, BAFTA and Emmy Award-nominated entertainment show, Taskmaster tyrant Greg Davies (Man Down, Cuckoo), with the help of his loyal assistant Alex Horne (The Horne Section and the show’s creator), sets out to test the wiles, wit and wisdom of five hyper-competitive comedians.

Comedians that have risked life, limb, and dignity in the hope of making the Taskmaster proud so far include: Frank Skinner (The Frank Skinner Show), Mel Giedroyc (The Great British Bake Off), Romesh Ranganathan (Asian Provocateur), Hugh Dennis (Outnumbered), Sally Phillips (Bridget Jones’ Diary), Rose Matafeo (Edinburgh Comedy Award Winner 2018), and Russell Howard (The Russell Howard Hour). Unaware of what awaits them in each wax-sealed envelope, only one competitor can become the victorious owner of His Royal Task-ness’ golden head and be crowned the next Taskmaster Champion.

  1. that fish task is really bad, why should anyone on the taskmaster assume that if they're wearing waders etc, they "caught a fish". Then they somehow should know that this time the sound recordist was putting something on their back, if Alex is hugging you for no reason, then you should know that it's not what he meant, yes.

  2. I genuinely reserve time to watch this show in one sitting because it brings me so much joy I want to feast on it 😂 cant get enough!

Also, why I'm I mildly attracted to Alex? 😂😂

  3. Strictly speaking… only John (and maybe Steve) should have gotten points for

the orange juicing task. The rules were that only the chosen items may touch the oranges. Sophie, Nick, and Joanne all put their oranges in the vase. Steve touched the orange with his top, though it could perhaps be argued that it was the armpit of the top (despite it not being a body part).

  4. That orange juice task – I so wanted someone to go and look in the fridge for orange juice, it was "get the most juice into the vase", no restrictions on leaving the lab or touching OJ cartons. Also does it look like something is stuck to the bottom of the table?

  5. May be a different country thing but I don’t consider that a spatula.. I’d call what they had a scraper and a spatula would be flat & sturdy enough to flip a pancake

  6. Okay, my first thought on the classical music task – if you aren't performing the william tell overture, you're making it too hard on yourself. 2nd thought – twinkle twinkle little star is classical music. 3rd thought. I once watched a video where they threw sodium in water to the 1812 overture. Everyone will get that one if you include the cannon, right.

Aww, they didn't get to pick?

They did pick. I guess panic picked.

Final Thought: NIck needs an Emmy

  7. I was watching a relatively new show on Disney+ last night when…Wham!…I realized I was watching Nick Mohammed!

Yes – he is a somewhat major character in "Renegade Nell". So – there you go, Nick fans!

  8. I think some of the past contestants would have just gone "eff it!" and tried to see how much chaos they could cause by grabbing a few handfuls of string and taking off at a run. Possibly in circles around Alex…
