Kiran. Banerjee.

This is a date that will live in infamy.

I mean we also unite most of Europe, but seriously. Kiran…

  1. I like Judith, Bannerjee I find incredibly contemptible. Did you ever finish that Servants game? Humanity's fate is surprisingly good, we kinda make the hydra into our puppets it's amusing.

  2. the board has decided that the investment and growth of the eurasian union has led to the proper size. it is time for a return on investment (there must be never less than 2 pips of spoils in the eurasian union)

  3. Would there be any benefit to space fleet composition variety? Two dedicated point defence ships? For every damage dealer? I’m assuming the cost outweigh the benefits? I haven’t made it that far in my own run yet though.

  4. Can you counteract missiles with missiles in this game? Like in The Expanse, target their missiles with yours? And can you retarget them mid-flight (which is a separate thing)?

Anyway, watching this game kinda makes me wanna play it, but I know I wouldn't have the dedication to learn all the geopolitical (sol-political?) strategy mechanics. I'd love a nice realistic-ish space battle commander simulator though.

  5. I don’t like the tech cap rules … I think that you should be a “fast following” corporation like most … so if the patent has expired (someone has had the tech for 10 years) or you can obtain the tech by stealing IP or “government contracts” where DARPA or equivalent have given you the blueprints then it should be fair game … however you shouldn’t be doing and research on anything that is bleeding tech or investing enough to control what is being researched. The tech rule is breaking me emersion on this run.

  6. Hahs. I love it – a solid tactical move by the protectorate. Taking solid advantage of the situation is such an improvement. I'm holding off on another playthrough for now, but love seeing how much improvement seems to have been made to the AI.

  7. Idk about house rules, I feel like people make up too many of them and without any RP connection.

So I suggest to modify "no welfare" one to "welfare can only be equal to spoils OR lower then economy investment". While Initiative as "organisation"(which it isn't) would benefit most from spoils, they're people, who stayed in power by knowing when to take the foot off the pedal. Plus it's never specified that the members of the Initiative are somehow exempt from having a helping hand in all the contracts that imply said GDP growths.

  8. House Rule Idea – Burned by the protectorate betrayal and the fact that the protectorate have a larger ship than us, the board requires that a battleship be built and maintained that is superior to any other individual vessel in earth orbit.
Thanks for the series Perun its really enjoyable to watch!

  9. So I got over the hate cap and the aliens started attacking my space stations. They kept sending one or two small ships against my layered defence hubs. I got almost 50 exotics until their main fleet finally showed up lol .

  10. Forgive me for saying this, but it is SO entertaining watching you get aggravated at the AI betrayal after being so used to your calm and collected self during all your other gameplay and presentations.

Make sure your compensation plan puts them in debt for the rest of their LIVES

  11. Board rule idea, members of the board have recently invested in several (insert weapon group here) production companies, from now on the board would like at all ships to include at least one such weapon

  12. What the Protectorate did is unacceptable, if someone creates a debt you get the bailiffs to cease some of their property and sell it to get back loss's. Unlawful destruction of property requires a hostile takeover at this point I think

  13. I find the protectorate much harder to deal with than the servants because at least the servants are predictable. I was recently playing exodus when they sent several nuke equiped ships against my mercury bases while my fleet was at ceres.

  14. Mhh, it seems the experimental branch might have some tweaking issues with the AI aggressiveness as some people have been reporting that they don't send assault carriers or do it too late. The very newest version that just dropped (0.3.127) makes them very aggressive instead.

EDIT: I also don't understand how you don't get attacked on Mars and Mercury. In my game the aliens are retaliating everywhere. Not just on Earth

  15. I dont think loyalty monitor reduces max loyalty. I give it to all my councilors and they've got 23-25 loyalty. Could possibly be mods messing with it but im only using a few unification/federation mods.

  16. I'd love a dlc that let's you play the Hydra.. assuming they could tweak it so it's still a challenge – perhaps the bigger threat is dealing with the demands of Hydra Command than the invasion itself.

  17. Nice to see that they actually reached the point where human on human space battles are actually a thing that can happen.
That alone makes the earlier engines look a lot more valuable to actually get.
