Welcome to Halberd Studios and their masterpiece, 9 Years of Shadows!
The combat, controls, and color blend old school and modern upgrades fantastically in this game I’ve been waiting for since the Kickstarter days.
It’s challenging, but despite being “NES hard,” only two or three encounters gave me an overabundance of difficulty.
If you’re a fan of Symphony of the Night and the like, this is a must-buy, and hopefully someday it will see a physical release so I can add it to the shelf!
