The Light Fragments are a currency used towards the end of the game.
9:45 Given the influence from greek mythology it's only now that I notice that these "money shrines" are styled after a Cornucopia.
10:05 You better hope there is no area inspired by the Maze of the Minotaur. Otherwise, better get yourself some Ariadne's thread!
17:45 The anvil makes a great percussion instrument!
28:10 A demon from the Bible, eh? I would have thought the plethora of monsters from greek mythology would suffice, but it seems, I was wrong.
I really got amazed by the save point.
Looks like Imma have to get this game!
OH! The money filled cornucopias are time limited. As you were charging an attack the purple meter on it was going down. So I guess if you want the most money, you really got to beat on it fast or maybe it's damage based and not hit based…
Also, you are right. This game is so pretty! I was kind of expecting the black and white colour scheme to stay longer and slowly have you collect colour like in "Gris". But this is nice too.
Also also, kind of suspicious there's only three elements and "wind" is missing… Especially since music seems to play a huge role in this game and all music relies on wind/air.
For so much of the game being based around music, I think more effort should have been spent on the elevator muzak. There is a lot of elevatoring.
The enemies remind me of Timespinner, weird, slightly silly pseudo-mechanical creatures. Also like Timespinner, this soundtrack is a bop.
