Today we searched for missing person Dale Richard Robinson, last seen in Sioux City, Iowa in the parking lot at Argosy Casino. He was driving a maroon 2000 F150 pickup truck and had know health issues. We used specialized sonar to scan the Missouri river and were able to locate a vehicle. After diving on it we discovered it was not Dales but rather a Mitsubishi Outlander the we reported it to the police.
There were reported sightings of him at museums in Missouri Valley and Council Bluffs, Iowa, but those were not confirmed. Because of his state of health, his family and the police are concerned for his safety. His case remains unsolved. If you have any information on Dale please email me: [email protected]

There are numerous fishing “pits” all over the region but only a handful of rivers from Sioux City & north. The Missouri is extremely dangerous undercurrents. Know too our flood patterns in the region fluctuates drastically through the seasons & know the Ice Damns that crash through in spring can crush a boat, barge or vehicle on or underwater. When working the Missouri, know the sand bars change not only yearly but often more then that. The history of riverboat travel on the Missouri gives you a great understanding of the Wilds of the Missouri. She’s not willing to be tamed. Also remember the Nebraska floods of 2018-19(?) was historical. Eastern Nebraska & western Iowa was under water. It could thus change the landscape underwater drastically.

My mom had dementia for many many years as she reached her later 70s she could no longer be alone .Alzh is difrent so he should have never been alone at any time driving .my heart dropped and teary eye so becareful guys and thank you for what you do. Love you guys 🙂

I'm from the area. I do know From experience the the Missouri River can achieve up to 7 MPH of flow at times. It is a mysterious and dangerous current as well. They will have a real tough time diving the muddy MO.
