9 Year Old Birthday Celebrations – Kelpie Style

Ask a Kelpie at the farm how they’d like to celebrate their special day, you’re likely to hear unanimous votes for quad bike runs.

Birthday girl, Tilly the 9 year old Kelpie is no exception.

Tilly is all Kelpie. And it’s serious working mode Kelpie when she’s here at the farm.

When she hears the quad start up, she clocks on for work.

Luke is the master and her job is to follow his lead and muster the pack. Like many of her Kelpie mates, she can’t have anyone behind her so she takes the high ground so nothing escapes her view.

She stalks slowly behind the pack as the quad slows down and sprints off the mark when she hears it rev off for the horizon.

This is Tilly’s jam. It’s in her blood. 9 years old? Means nothing. Slowing down? Not anytime soon.

So, for a while now I have been meaning to let you know how much I really enjoy the video summaries…they alert me to things I would have missed just watching and educate me on things I always wondered about ( like why Tilly is always on the outskirts).
