State of Emergency Is without a doubt the best song on that Winger album! However, best Winger song is Under One Condition ;). Great video as always Mike. Best pick on this list, however, is Desperately by Slaughter. WITHOUT a doubt the greatest song on that album. The chorus on that song is insane!
Yeah🤘Glad to see all the love for State of Emergency! Winger does have some great ballads too. Desperately is such a great track….bummed Rob didn’t feel the same😂
Haven't been able to watch yet, so not sure if it was mentioned, but What's It Gonna Be, from Ratt, off the Reach for the Sky album. It should have been released as single, it's great, it's probably my favorite Ratt song, especially the live versions of the song. When they played it on the Reach for the Sky tour in 1989, Warren would always do a 2-minute solo at the end of the song, that was so melodic and catchy.
Hawk tell the truth
Ratt and Cinderella I think have the best deep cuts for the 80s bands.
Great episode!
My picks are:
Def Leppard – Don't Shoot Shot Gun
Europe – Just The Beginning
Dokken – Cry Of The Gypsy
Poison – So Tell Me Why
Poison – #1 Bad Boy
Babylon A.D. – Psychedelic Sex Reaction (I've heard that the band hate the song, but I love it)
Hericane Alice – Shake Shake Shout
Ratt – You Should Know By Now
Warrant – Mr. Rainmaker
Slaughter – Desperately
Winger – In the Day We'll Never See
Europe – Love Chaser
Poison – Livin' for the Minute
FireHouse – Overnight Sensation
Slaughter – Trailer Park Boogie
Ratt – The Bottom Line
Babylon A.D. – Back in Babylon
Warrant – Song and Dance Man
Bon Jovi – I'd Die for You
White Lion – Lady of the Valley
Def Leppard – Stagefright
KISS – Trial by Fire
Trixter – Always a Victim
KIX – Cold Chills
Judas Priest – Reckless
Nelson – Will You Love Me?
Motley Crue – She Goes Down
L.A. Guns – Give a Little
Cinderella – Fire and Ice
L.A. Guns – HV is very Aerosmith
2 Danger Danger songs worth a mention are Shot 'O Love and Afraid of Love, neither made the first 2 albums but are on the Cockroach double album. Ted Poley versions better than Paul Laine ones.
