I have to say I'm generally not an artistic aficionado, but i absolutely love seeing cell shading. I remember playing the original dark cloud(s?) on ps1 and being amazed at how gorgeous it was

I just watched this on Aavak's channel but I had to come see what "under the floor" looked like. (Totally worth it.)
The character on the character screen looks like joel haver's animation style.

I was lost on playing this before until the mushroom men, but I feel like they had flatter colors? Did I dream that? Also the red tree looking ones really remind me of the broccoli aliens from Powerpuff girls. I also love that one perk is called painsmith, and also that under the level just counted as a room? 😂

Hey retro have you tried tales of maj'eyal? I think it would be a game you would like and tons of replayability with different classes/race etc.
