  1. Love these! However, Julius Caesar took the title of dictator, not emperor, over Rome after he conquered Gaul. The Roman Empire was established by his adopted son Octavian (Augustus), the first emperor, in 16 BC.

  2. St Augustine, in recounting the famous story of the young Caesar being captured by pirates, added that when Caesar later captured them, he denounced them as brigands and murderers. Whereupon the leader responded that while Caesar and his army had killed hundreds and robbed cities and whole countries, so he was acclaimed as 'emperor and conqueror'. While he had killed a number of people and robbed a few boats, he and his men were 'brigands and murderers' and were going to be crucified!
Caesar had no reply to that…

  3. Cyrus did not let those who he conquered practice their own religion.
He put out an edict as such so all had to worship his man made idol.
Those who didn't got thrown in furnaces&lions dens.

  4. Your videos always have bits of misinformation in them. In this video, for example, Julius Caesar was never emperor of Rome. He proclaimed himself "Dictator For Life". The man that he posthumously adopted, eventually became Rome's first emperor – Augustus Caesar.
