Thai Airways is nearing a massive deal for up to 80 Boeing 787 Dreamliners as it looks to grow and renew its fleet. Meanwhile, Lufthansa Cargo has acquired another A321 Freighter as it continues expanding this upcoming winter season to complement its increasing 777 Freighter network. Lastly, Ryanair is expanding its UK operation with another airport in 2024 slated to get flights to and from it.

lovely as always DJ, keep up the great work!
For an airline of this size, market share and (in)efficiency, ordering 80 wide bodies at once doesn't make sense.
Thanks For Great Info
I don't think all of the Thai airways 80 787 order will be in firm order. Some of them will probably be options. But I do think that they will all be GEnx powered 787 due to RR tough pricing which is why the deal with Airbus widebody is a no-go. RR is also no longer bribing Thai airways and Thai airways many problems with RR 787 that they currently had. But of course this is all just speculation.
This potential order was Boeingβs to lose because of the spat with RR which essentially ruled out the A350 as those negotiations were for a better deal with Boeing and choosing GE
Airbus should provide P2F conversion program for 321s and 330s. I think there's a market there.
Dj, as a long time viewer and trying to help. I suggest to have quality than quantity, I suggest weekly posts so you can take more days off, condense the news and also have time such as air shows in the future. Just an advice though π
DJ, thanks a million for your videos.
Thanks for the news updates DJ

8:16 – Like that MAX10 capture.
I recently returned from Thailand and I remember seeing old, dirty, and engineless Thai aircraft sitting on the tarmac at Suvarnabhumi Airport. They were mainly B747, A340, and A380 aircraft wasting away in the hot Thai sun.
