780. The Customary Pre-Holiday Ramble (Aug 2022) Train of Thought / My Daughter's Pet Shop / 4 Songs

An unedited ramble in which I talk without a specific plan. Includes a recording of my daughter speaking English, and a few songs on the guitar. Hang out with me and listen to English for a while.

  1. Dear Luke, I love your rrrrambling…I just love it….especially when I can see you with my eyes,. It's worth a lot to watch your gesture, that for me is sharing, communicate , even when you sing, sweat and touch your earphones again and again..it doesn't matter… you behave like warm, nice and exceptional human being …thanks for everything!!! Enjoy your Holiday/ Vacation together with your family.

  2. I have been following all of your podcast episodes and I must admit that they have been absolutely useful for my requirements. Being emersed in native speaker's speech which is full of good content is a sure way to improve the level of acquisition. Appreciate your work.
You must be already on your holiday.
Enjoy and bring us the experience in your next episode.

  6. Thank goodness I meet you teacher Luke,as an English student for two decades in China,I know too much about grammar,I can read a lot,but It has been a great challenge for me to listen and speak, now I feel enlightened by your teaching style,so relaxing,so vivid,so enjoyable, which encourages me a lot!
I no longer worry about speaking or writing in simple English with errors here or there,I remember there is an episode you invited a English language professor David who said one of the functions of language is to communicate,Which reminds me why I have been loving English.
    ❤❤❤
By the way, when I hear you mentioned future perfect tense ,that is so familiar to me,I was trained too much such things .
I want to keep on learning English to help me reading History of England which I am so interested in.

Finally I must say my appreciation for your great work here teacher Luke, you make me believe that any efforts in my life are not useless, how lucky to meet you ❤❤❤,I benefit from you so much!
