7500 employees seemed fair, think Taylor forgets it isn't just "a social media site" it's one of the two biggest on the planet. Network shit seems really fucking complicated, I'm sure it takes a shitload of people to keep a platform of that size running smoothly. How many of the 73% who quit were really necessary? None of us know. Nobody outside of twitter knows because only they know how the company actually runs….

When covid hit, my construction company went from 30 regular employees down to about 12 for a few weeks. Nothing changed, production stayed the same. We do hard ass work, I doubt anyone at Twitter works 1/4 as hard as we do. Twitter will be fine
