Yer wee Shauna reminded me of that auld rhyme
' Mary had a little lamb
its' fleece was white as snow and everywhere that Mary went the little lamb would go
It followed her to school one day which was against the rules ,
it made the children laugh and play to see a lamb at school '.
Using those post drivers will wear you out๐ฎ That is not fun work.
Me, I would have used the tree stumpโฆfor fence support! done it before. It goes nowhere.
So pleased the visit from island owners went well the both of you are so hardworking very well done xx
43:39 I am genuinely envious of this glorious weather! We haven't had proper rain where I am for several weeks, and I'm just waiting for the first glorious storm of the year! It looks so beautiful!
And yay for the trailer finally being fixed!
LOL just read 'to Simon Gray' and it really made me laugh. Thanks for that and thanks for all your videos. Keep them coming, love them. Best wishes to you both and to the cats and sheep, especially little Shona โฅ
It was a lovely visit today! Blessings on all of your endeavors. ๐๐๐ฆ๐๐๐โโฌ๐ซ๐ฆ๐๐
I love the labor involved in maintaining a fence; I wish I was there to help you (heck, I want to live in a cave on the Isle, within shouting distance and available to help you when needed. Considering the history of the ancient techniques to enclose or protect a space, have you considered works such as hedgerows and split timber rails? There is probably enough dead wood and stone to build some wonderful fences on the Isle, which are free to build and appropriate to the ancient site. Just a thought, your life there is so inspiring. Thanks for sharing it.
Good job Scott don't get down when people are negative about you. Take it like a pinch of salt. Your doing great along with K.
It seems like you two never stop working. You need to have a rest sometimes. Take care โค
This line from To a Louse always touches this old sassanachs heart!
O, wad some Power the giftie gie us
To see oursels as others see us!
This vlog cracked me up when you were trying to wind Katie up Scott, with the gladiator theme , love that half the time she just ignores you and changes the subject ๐คฃ Great job on trailer and mortaring in the cottage . Love the chat at the end of filming . I agree with a lot of others that the clarity of filming is really good just lately , although everywhere is looking beautiful at the moment as in the coastline , trees, mountains and plants .Look forward to next vlog and thanks for taking us along with you and all the lovely animals on your weekly journey , ooh and thanks for the footage of the storm with the music , it made me nod off after watching this after my night shift ๐
Nice trailer repair, except I would have used nylock nuts, they wont loosen. Just saying.
Really enjoyed the video, thank you.
It looks that Shona avoids her full weight on her right rear foot
Oh how I love, and miss, the wild skys in Scotland โค
Thank you for another fabulous vlog. Crikey that fencing took some doing with all the mud. The walls are looking really good Katie. Xx
Shona is so funny! I hear the little teeth tak-tak-tak-tak-tak when she chews Katy's hair.
When did the trailer flip??have i missed something?
You both work so hard the cottage and surrounds look great love your wall Katie especially love the resort feel of the sheepies house
๐๐ "Who was your favourite, Wolf?" Katie's face ๐
So, his gravestone ๐ชฆsays "Robert Burns."๐ฅ๐Forgive me.๐คก
