  1. Yer wee Shauna reminded me of that auld rhyme
' Mary had a little lamb
its' fleece was white as snow and everywhere that Mary went the little lamb would go
It followed her to school one day which was against the rules ,
it made the children laugh and play to see a lamb at school '.

  2. 43:39 I am genuinely envious of this glorious weather! We haven't had proper rain where I am for several weeks, and I'm just waiting for the first glorious storm of the year! It looks so beautiful!
And yay for the trailer finally being fixed!

  3. LOL just read 'to Simon Gray' and it really made me laugh. Thanks for that and thanks for all your videos. Keep them coming, love them. Best wishes to you both and to the cats and sheep, especially little Shona โ™ฅ

  4. I love the labor involved in maintaining a fence; I wish I was there to help you (heck, I want to live in a cave on the Isle, within shouting distance and available to help you when needed. Considering the history of the ancient techniques to enclose or protect a space, have you considered works such as hedgerows and split timber rails? There is probably enough dead wood and stone to build some wonderful fences on the Isle, which are free to build and appropriate to the ancient site. Just a thought, your life there is so inspiring. Thanks for sharing it.

  5. This vlog cracked me up when you were trying to wind Katie up Scott, with the gladiator theme , love that half the time she just ignores you and changes the subject ๐Ÿคฃ Great job on trailer and mortaring in the cottage . Love the chat at the end of filming . I agree with a lot of others that the clarity of filming is really good just lately , although everywhere is looking beautiful at the moment as in the coastline , trees, mountains and plants .Look forward to next vlog and thanks for taking us along with you and all the lovely animals on your weekly journey , ooh and thanks for the footage of the storm with the music , it made me nod off after watching this after my night shift ๐Ÿ˜Š
