The Lego games have blockified some of the most beloved movies of all time, but the problem is those movies have some tragic or horrifying moments that would traumatise kids and result in a lifetime of sleepless nights. Here are seven truly traumatic moments that Lego toned down for the children.

The cantina owner ground Greedo's body up and turned it into booze for his customers

Actually it was the kid Pietro was trying to save. Deleted scenes reveal that Pietro likes the boys older sister
Why did they have to add voice acting? I miss the old Lego games that used vague noises and slapstick.
A sequel to this could be 7 things we were shocked they DIDN'T tone down in the Lego games.
Order 66 was ALMOST an exception. I mean, yeah it was, softened a bit by having one of the clones initially mistake it as an order to breakdance and Yoda leaving a casual message, but the Jedi Order just fucking died, being bombarded with so much blaster fire even Form V Shien wasn't enough to deflect it. I understand they had to tone down the darker moments in Lego games because it's a kids toy and its media is known for comedy, but then Order 66 happens and makes you wonder how does plastic even die? Speaking of, though, as toned down as Anakin's mutilation was, it already had a bit of funny in the original version? Why? Cause Obi Wan had the high ground!
5:00 My memory might be horrible, but I recall reading that Avengers Quicksilver was off'd because Quicksilver was part of the Marvel bundle owned by Fox at the time, and was going to appear in a then-upcoming X-men movie. Where he also dies! But now Disney owns Fox, so Disney owns the X-men and so fo(u)rth again, so Quicksilver can live again!
Now compare Norringtons's death in LEGO Pirates of the Carribbean to the movie. Somehow a lot MORE horrifying!
Lego the Hobbit. The part where Gollum beats, kills, and then eats the Goblin that fell with Bilbo, gets changed to where a stunned Goblin helps you escape Gollum.
Doesn’t nedry not even die in the lego game alongside the hunter? Because if you play through the Jurassic world part of the game, when the kids steal the jeep in the old part of Jurassic park, we see 3 characters pop up that are just older, I know Muldoon is one of them and I forgot who the other two are. I think it’s nedry and maybe the lawyer.
Wait a second these are all Lego games
"up here is a video that we had to tone down. it was really raunchy before"
said video is "7 boss weapons that sucked when you got them"
I REALLY want to know what the first draft of that video was now
"… we had to tone it down, it was really raunchy…"
Oh, so you're finally leaking that deleted scene from the Oxventurers' honeymoon episode?
Where can I find that Hocus Pocus shirt?
7:00 …and turns into Doc Brown from Back to the Future
Peter Jackson: Boromir dies by arrow
Some Dev on the team: Boromir is now canonically allergic to bananas.
Comedy at it's finest!
