My perfect vacation is not standing up before 7 to get online to skip inline…
In animal kingdom I would recomend the otter grotto it’s very cool it is right outside one of the resturajnts
Coming from Ca so I doubt I can do much on day 1, the flight is almost 6 hours and DW is 3 hours ahead. Not interested in Animal kingdom, Universal, or DS. Would rather spend 2 days in Epcot 1 or 2 in MK
Can you do a 2-day trip??
PRO TIP..if possible fly out a day early and get a hotel near Disney Springs and spend the day there, next morning go right to your resort..it’s like having an extra day
💯 on tip number one! I always make sure that I have a swimsuit in our carry-ons just in case things go wrong😎
I've been planning an 11 day trip for my family for early March 2025, if we can afford it by then. Since we will be traveling with two people on the Autism spectrum (One high functioning, one severe nonverbal) I have done a lot of research and planning, and I think I have worked out the perfect itinerary. We plan on hiring a para for our daughter to help out and make sure she doesn't get too overwhelmed. Our plan is to fly in late in the evening the night before and stay at a hotel near the airport so daughter can unwind from the flight and hopefully go straight to bed without too much stress for her (or Hubby, the high functioning one).
After breakfast on the first day, we will go to a Walmart or grocery store to pick up snacks, drinks, breakfast foods, and sandwich fixings for the first week. After using mobile check in, we will drop off luggage and groceries at Bell Services at the resort (Boardwalk Villas, because it has the best transportation access that I could find,) then have lunch at Beaches and Cream. The rest of the afternoon, depending on the mood of the group, we will explore the Boardwalk shops and activities, and possibly visit Yacht and Beach Club. After dinner (location to be decided later,) we'll go to our rooms to unpack and unwind before bed.
Our first park day (day 2) will be at EPCOT. This day would fall on Daughter's Birthday. After renting a wheelchair for daughter in case she gets tired of walking and to prevent a meltdown, our first two stops will be Journey into Imagination and Soarin'. Afterwards we will head to World Showcase for brunch at Les Halles, followed by a stroll around the various nations to Norway, where we will use DAS pass to ride Frozen, then make our way back to The Land for the boat tour and a late lunch at Garden Grill. After lunch we'll hit up The Seas and Spaceship Earth. After Spaceship Earth, Daughter and I will probably head back to the hotel while Hubby and Son and possibly the Para hit up any other rides they want, then we'll meet back up for dinner somewhere to be decided.
Our second park day (day 3) would be at Animal Kingdom, where we will rent another wheelchair before going straight for Kilimanjaro Safari, then take a slow stroll through the animal trails before lunch (To be decided.) We will then take the train to Rafiki's Planet Watch, and spend some time at Affection Station. If Dinoland is still there when we go, we will probably check out some of the tamer rides there. If not, then daughter and I will probably do some shopping while the others ride Everest and Avatar. After an early dinner, we will ride Safari again before calling it a day.
Day four, daughter and I will probably have a hotel day while the others go to Hollywood Studios. Depending on her mood, we might go to the pool, or get our nails done, or both.
Day five will be Magic Kingdom, part one. Since there is so much to do here, and I don't want daughter or hubby over stressed, I plan on splitting this park between three days.
Day Six will be Magic Kingdom part two.
Day Seven we will take a break and go to Disney Springs.
Day eight will be the third day at Magic Kingdom, and also our Wedding Anniversary. We will probably have a nice lunch at a sit down restaurant to celebrate. This will also be a short park day, as Daughter and Para will have to fly back home on this day because Daughter can only be away for a certain amount of days.
Day nine would be either Sea World or Universal Studios.
Day ten would be son's birthday, and he would have his choice of parks.
Day eleven would be a park hopper day, to hit any rides we couldn't do because of daughter. We would fly home late that night.
Hi! I love your videos ♥️ I was wondering if you’d ever make (or have made) a video about taking a 1 year old baby to Disney? Lol I need tips!
AJ, you could easily be a Travel Advisor to the Stars and charge a small fortune for your amazing knowledge!👍😎
My perfect Disney World trip is always in December, where I go to one park for one day, then I attend the anime convention Holiday Matsuri at the Marriott World Center for the weekend, then I go back to the parks for a few days. 😁
Any gluten free foods at Disney ?
Nothing better than getting off that plane and heading towards your hotel. And vice versa. Nothing worse than heading to the airport before flying home
Just had our first ever trip to Disney World. 14 days was just right for us. Long distance travel each end and 5 year old. We did a day in park and day off to relax and do other things. We did MK, HS and AK twice, with 1 visit to Epcot. Also 2 days at the Blizzard Beach water park. Totalled 9 days in Disney and we still didnt get everything done!
Omg how could you miss out on Hard Rock Cafe in city walk? When me and my family have been from England we’ve always eaten at Hard Rock it’s easily the best place to eat out of all the places in the parks hand down! Love the videos but I had to make sure that Hard Rock gets its props. 💯😎
What is the website for universal that was mentioned in the end
Ill change out the animal kingdom day for an epcot day. And the universal day for another magic kingdom day.
This is such a helpful video ! I'm planning a 7-8 day solo trip around Halloween and I know I'll be able to put these tips into practice !
Thanks for the tips. I personally won’t stay at a Disney hotel, but very helpful to know everything that’s in the area. I’m going to make an 18 day trip going to amusement parks in Georgia and then all of the Orlando and Tampa parks
Hey AJ – I just want to say – YOU ARE AMAZING! My family and I went to Disney in 2019 and because of you and your tips and tricks, our vacation was absolutely the best it could have possibly been. All because of you! And when we were there, it was almost like you were there with us – guiding us to best rides, times, snacks – we dominated Disney thanks to you! Thank you for all you do to help people navigate Disney and Universal!! We are hoping to take our kiddos back in a year or two! Just wanted to say THANK YOU!!!!
I am extremely proud of Governor Ron DeSantis for taking away Disney World's 'Special Exempt' laws. Now they have to be treated like every other companies. No special treatments.
Thank you, AJ and team!!! This was fantastic…and as a relatively long time viewer, most of these points were “refreshers” for me…BUT…the video does give some “escape” back to the magic!!
We flew in the first time this year. We used Mears for a bus to AoA, and for a private drive back to MCO. I was surprised how great they were!
As someone who has only been to Disneyland Paris before the fact everything in Disneyworld is air coned blows my mind 😂
Chicago represent
Thank you for the disney planning ideas 😊😊
Make sure you also pack about fifty thousand dollars because Disney is going to bleed you dry for everything you're worth
Dudes really getting into the theme with those boots at 3:31
Just got back from Disney World Mardi Gras week! Crazy crowded! We were able to master the Genie Plus system and stood in lines average of 10 minutes! Fabulous! The food was less than fabulous! Our wookie cookie was stale and we were told that happens sometimes! The caramel butter bar was also subpar! Very disappointed! The caramel popcorn, however, was amazing and the spring rolls great! Took other food suggestions you made and was less than impressed. Overall trip was great! May just eat off property next trip!
I’m in ct so I’m going to the pool so much lol 😂
Love these videos!!! Thank you AJ & DFB team! Question from someone flying overseas with kids:
What would be the best way do we get to Universal Studios from a Disney World hotel? Car rental? Uber/Lyft?
