I agree 100% on everything you said. The one thing I want improvement on is farming rates or material availability cooking in this game is just way harder then it needs to be it takes 3 or 4 hours of farming just to make 3 or 4 pieces of buff or ability foods it should not be that difficult
Dark Souls 3 worthy boss fight please
I'd like to see less good armor/weapon loot, especially from dungeons. Instead, drops of good materials necessary to craft good armor/weapon.
I think it would simply get crafting where it should be (and town management, to be able to craft high level stuff)
armor mobility is difficult. I don't want to see range players kiting medium or heavy armored players to oblivion.
combat is so bad to watch from a viewer perspective, it's just a big zerg of people spamming
Totally agree about the heavy armor penalty. It is insynen that you can go full heavy armar and still do as much dmg as a mage. Other sandbox mmo makes it harder to cast spells, longer cast times, spells have a chance to fail etc. Insane that you can be full fucking armor and still be on top of the dmg charts
Healing need to be nerfed to be a FLAT value, rather than % health. As is currently, people stacking con w/ a life staff can be borderline invincible. Even food regen often scales w/ %health, so stacking con is just too powerful for pvp– particularly when you consider that you don't really lost much damage (As an alternative, the damge bonuses from stats needs to get a large buff, to prevent every weapons best strat to be stack a shit ton of con so you're unkillable in pvp).
They don't delay the Game so they can implement thoughts of PPL in YouTubers comment section xD they are only fixing some Bugs and are optimizing
I dunno man, I would not give penalties for wearing different types of armor. I would rather give a good set bonus, when you ware all of the same armor.
Please improve responsiveness of the combat by readding stagger!
I agree heavy armour should slow you down. I think Factions need adjusting, as in a limit on joining a faction if they are dominating the server. More variety in monster attack patterns.
I'd like to just play the game, and then for them to improve and fix it.
I felt that one of the ''worst'' stat in the game was Dexterity, and that it didn't have what the name suggest it to have, like overall more mobility, attack speed, dodge, movement speed. I think that dexterity builds should move faster, dodge better, attack faster, what i mean is that ''when i see a full dex build i can notice the difference''. When experiencing the light armor dodge i found myself in a position that i ''moved so fast'' the the mobs didn't even care, they would just let me finish the dodge and hit me like nothing happened, something like: oh cool you rolled, nice, *smack in the face*. Also i think the overall light attacks hit too hard and the weapon skills don't hit hard enough. I found myself playing a Spear cc build, trying to make a stun-knockdown combo, followed by 3-5 basic hits and did like no dmg. Meanwhile getting butchered by hatchet or greataxe basic hits, just blunt basic hits spamm that scale with passives and stuff. On that point of view, the spear in my opinion, is way behind any other melee weapon. Also we need more skill animation variations. I just got so jealous about Ebonscale mobs musket skills and some of the 1h sword and shield and spear ones, i was like: why the hell they have so many cool skills and i'm stuck with a spin, dash or swipe. I mean that mob can literally jump in the air, freeze with a grit and shot me in the face with a musket skill that looks like a shutgun, i want that too! Also the musket is still far from decent, having 3 skills that makes you load your musket with an enchanted effect, that you need to stop and reload for like 1.5sec, it's so clunky and non functional and most of the times you'll die for that, and also the musket basic shot most of the times will bug out and consider your enemy as a ''friendly target'' that you wouldn't be able to dmg or hit, meanwhile they would have no problem hitting you, but that's a ''priority'' that i hope it's gonna be fixed. What you said about crafting is true, i had a lvl 130-150 armorcrafting and weaponcrafting and i crafted stuff literally only because i couldn't find armor pieces with the stats that i needed when switching builds, you can literally just PvE and do explorations and elite zones and ignore crafting armors/weapons, because they won't give you anything in early-mid game, they start to have a meaning in late game, but not so much. Also the crafting lvl and materials that you need to make low lvl armor/weapons is too high. Like to make lvl 20-30 green rarity i need to find materials and have a level ''so high'' that i might as well ignore them. For example i could craft them ''easily'' when i was farming to craft myself a lvl 52 spear and that was funny, because when i grinded to farm a lvl 34 spear i had to do it for like 2-3 days, and let's be honest ,when i got there i was already lvl 45-50 so i wouldn't need it anymore. There are also a lot of other things that i'd like to see and talk about but i think i made this too long already…
“The boss one-shot us, and that was amazing”…???
The grind is too easy I don’t think 40hrs in game should be lvl 40-50
Crafting needs to be more randomized, maybe adding a rare drop item like the Fae Iron to trigger randomization so it’s more difficult than easy
From what I played it’s great they know the main issues they have to work on and like you said it’s more complete than a lot already released. If everyone is max level in a week what are we going to do in 6 months
craftable speed potion only works out of combat and not pvp flagged.
Though I agree with some of the stuff you said, a script done ahead of time and tightened up might really help out.
I would love to see some sort of passive move speed bonus given to roadways that builds over time The longer that you remain on a road and then quickly vanishes if you leave the road. He could cap at 30 to 40% or something and take over 60 seconds to get there. That would encourage people to utilize the roads give the game a greater feeling of population as well as encourage road banditry and PVP
They confirmed on twitter that there will be no new content or features than what was in the beta already so don't get your hopes up lol
Do you think it is time for New World to be Released in Early Access on Steam ? I do believe that when the 28th of September they will delay it till 2022?
I feel like this guy needs to check himself and his facts. Idk if this guy has played the game in depth enough to make these claims sense half of them seem nicely put but are just wrong.
full item durability… so crafters have a continuous purpose.
I want to see a weapon that is less reactive in its support. Putting out buffs, damage reduction, and/or shields
Maybe a consumable like a goo bomb that reduces healing received for a period of time? Or a voodoo doll that targets a single player. Earth idol that reduces healing received and slows movement speed. Instead of having to fix that healing problem with weapons specifically, we could do it through crafting. Perhaps even gems that have a stronger effect on a cooldown. Weapon oils / enchants. Tons of ways to do this.
I want there to be an arena mode to queue up for and as you rank up you get cool cosmetics and you can get these points to buy certain items at a shop exclusive to that arena mode, there can be 2v2, 3v3 and even 5v5.
Why do the pirates, zombies, ghosts, skeletons all have the same attack routine. Specifically that swing, swing swing swing swing swing?
Arena PVP in 6 month
It’s a bit against the spirit of an MMO, but I want to be able to enter dungeons like amirine solo. If I’m 15 levels above the dungeon difficulty, let me go do it by myself. If I’m at the same level, let me go so I can get a sense of what the place is like. When the game has been out for month post launch, new players who may be alone could have a hard time getting a party together to go into these places.
Make faction armor into "recipes" instead of actual gear
Im sure more monster types will come in their first expansion
Mounts or proper auto pathing. Anything to ease travel. Also I want auto gathering. Running from tree to tree or rock to rock is so obnoxious and tiring. Also make these instances per player, because players taking all the iron veins at any time is really annoying
Let us see what fish other people catch also.. it's silly they just hold up their hands, we only see our fish
Absolutely agree with the lack of "Heal-debuffs"
Seeing the begining of a siege meta, its alot about just outhealing chip/poke dmg by standing in healing circles. Im not sure if Amazing balancing team assumed manacost would be the way of keeping heals in check, but with potions and lifestaffs + more lifesteal abilities on example Void Gauntlet, I kinda fear that sustain will be too potent and dominant for pvp on launch, unless healing is scaled down severely, or we simply see more and better Healingdebuffs. Such as the Hatchet throw aoe healdebuff, but its super tiny 3meters. :/
Company storage bank(aka guild bank)
Let them know to make it compatible to run 240hz in a 5120×1440
1. Commander Thorpe & Isabella should be the end game of end game. Felt weird that the two main enemies weren’t even level 60 content lol. Was also expecting epic battles for these not just final dungeon bosses. 2. The war mechanics NEED to be fixed. War should cause a 1 week cool down PER settlement. If not everyone will be completely burnt out on war. Imagine multiple wars per settlement every week. The potential of 20 wars a week? NO THANK YOU
Nice video! Totally can agree on most of these, but again I haven't played anything more than up to level 25 as I was skilling and running around doing other things mostly during my time with the beta
What do you think about world vs world wars… Perhaps every 3-4 months
In which the entire server fights another server for a chance at special gear/gold/bragging rights.
Surprise! Meh ill be playing D2 Remastered.
Is trinity West or East coast?
The wait is painful damn
i absolutely love gathering and crafting. i played wow for about 15 years and gw2 and ff14 also on and off and always gravitated towards gathering and crafting, i hope that this crafting system (which i love) keeps up with current progression and allows you to gear out side of dungeons and raids etc. and doesnt just become obsolete after like next patch. wow being prime example in later expansions, once first raid comes out your crafting is 90% useless besides potions etc. so i hope that weapon and armour crafting stay relevant as tbh thats prob what ill be doing the most. i managed to get most lifeskills to 130-150 before closed beta finished and loved every second of it.
More character customization, I'd like to see more taller or skinner characters, why can't we create a dwarf or a fat ass guy, all the bodies are well formed people with aswesome musculature. I want to create a fat gollum ass character. I dont just want to see beardwomens with anime colored hair.
In the furure I'd like to see some kind of personalitys and postures for the characters too. Like and nervous guy who punched his head trying to shut some voices, some kind of sexi postures for woman, a variation of IDLE animation acording to the selected personality, or/and a sistem like Dragon's Dogma has, were you can adjust the inclination (posture) of your character, and you can create more heroic or depress like chars.
Ok, cool!
On armor, hard disagree
