  2. Thank you for your recommendations. A lot of these sound interesting, especially Rainbow Billy and ANNO: Mutationem. I will have to check them out.

In response to your question at 5:38, I just can't get into tactical RPGs. I want to – I really do. There are a lot of well-known franchises in that genre, like Fire Emblem, but anytime I actually try to play one, I just… can't. That style of playing and fighting just doesn't quite "click" with my brain. I can't tell you how disappointing it is when I hear of a new game that sounds fantastic, and then I see the tactical grid layout in the gameplay trailer 😞

  3. I enjoyed old school Pokémon games back in the day but I like exp share and how the newest game doesn’t have random grass battles or forced trainer battles. It was really nice to fight the trainers when I want to and see Pokémon in the over world. I think Temtem might be frustrating for me. I can’t get into soulslikes or rogue likes. I played Hades but I’m not interested in the sequel.

  4. Thanks for the great vid ^^ It's great that you still upload some short vids from time to time 😀
Hope you'll be able to get a proper comp soon, though I bet you'll still be super busy with your studies, so do take care of yourself first.
Anno looks great, I'll have to check it out!
As for game genres I sometimes try but can't get into, tactical games would fit best I guess.
    I can't play first-person games either, but that's not so much that I wouldn't like them, but I just get motion sickness >.>;;

  5. I'm so glad to see a youtuber finally recommend cattails! It's such a cozy cute game, and it's so cheap, everyone who likes cozy games should have it in their collection! I've never heard of that first game, but it looks cute, gonna look into it. Thanks for the recommendations!

  6. Cool vid! Didn't expect turnip boy to be here! i picked it up right when it released and i find it's an amazing little game, although i'd recommend getting it when it's on sale since it's a bit pricey considering how short it is.
Also when it comes to genres i just cant get into: FPS, 3d horror (somehow 2d is perfectly fine with me lmao), and turn based strategy games (not sure how to put it. i mean kinda like fire emblem or disgaea).
Wishing you have nice holidays and get to relax and rest! cheers

  7. A bit late but here’s my thoughts on each one:
    1. Never heard of this one but looks very cute! Might check it out
    2. TemTem definitely seems more catered to old school Pokémon fans. I would’ve much rather preferred if they made the EXP share optional (with a toggle like the ones in Gen 6 and 7) rather than just always having it off. As for trainer battles…I’ve gotten so use to how SV do it that going back to “you looked me in the eye” battles seems like a hassle
    3. Tried Blue Fire and while it’s definitely fun it’s very difficult. Also maybe just me but I kept getting lost all the time
    4. Tried the demo for ANNO and it was so good, my only real gripe with it is that the text feels way to small sometimes. Thank you Switch for coming with a zoom feature
    5. I’ve had this one on my backlog for a while and need to tackle it soon. Especially with a sequel on the way soon.
    6. This one seems pretty funny. Might give it a go
    7. Believe I first saw this in an Indie Direct but overlocked it initially since it didn’t look like something I’d be interested in. Though I’ve heard some good things about it so we’ll see

  8. I tried to get into Xenoblade chronicles but after twenty hours the first game didn’t grab me. I think I just have open world fatigue. Running across endless plains gets old so quickly. Sorry Zelda I loved you top down! 🫶

  9. For me,that would be all online FPS. COD war-zone kept me interested for awhile but same ol thing. I prefer something like doom instead. I also get really bored of Monster hunter games. That grind is real.
