  4. I wouldn’t mind exploring you. I mean exploring with you. In all seriousness though, watch yourself out there all alone. I hope, and I’m sure your armed with more than a pretty face and a camera. Be safe.

  5. Wonderhussy is smart and prudent with her efforts to avoid the meth-heads. Meth-heads are criminals–by definition they can't survive without stealing property and panhandling. When high on crystal meth, meth-heads are capable of crazy, violent behavior.

  7. I've been to the fish pond many times. Sometimes the water gets really cloudy, and all the goldfish die off. Someone must restock it every once in awhile. I've been there when there are hundreds of the little guys are swimming around.

  9. I know this area of the Mojave enough to drive it blindfolded having lived here for 58 years. But I really enjoy seeing it from someone else's perspective.

Author Deeana Stillman, who never actually lived in the desert, describes the Mojave in her books much better than I could.

This part of the desert holds some dark stories. None more gruesome than the murders of two young teens that attended an overnight party in an abandoned bunker. The military has since removed that bunker and others to prevent something like that from happening again. While that isn't the only murder(s) in the desert, it is certainly the most disturbing.

  10. Well. I think it may be time for you to engage your literary abilities, and write a book about the boat in the desert. That is certain to stir the curiosity of many living in middle America. And as for the house? Make it an art theme at……..BURNING MAN!!!

  11. I don't get how there are just a bunch of abandoned RVs and cars on BLM land. How did the people leave the place if they didn't use their cars or drive away in their RVs? The suspense kills
