If Vulkan the leige lord of the Salamanders was here, Sauron would get his helm caved in by a massive warhammer in mere seconds.
Space Marines and Hulkbusters were the most effective. The mechs are all either getting better, or I've adjusted my expectations downward enough. They're good when you have enough of them for massed firepower, which is important when you can only scrape up 20 T-45s. The tanks are still absolute clown cars, and it's disappointing to even see them show up. I've largely given up being disappointed in firearms. The stout-hearted Special Forces boys are gonna die, but at least they know how to back up, which makes them useful. Same for the Salamanders, who didn't seem too effective, but when they back up they keep the enemy running around stupidly for the bigger boys to shoot.
